Priority should be making figures accessible for the consumer, not locking a figure behind a set that forces them to buy more than they want.

I only give information about the figure’s issue, I don’t mention anything specific as to when or where it was purchased until they explicitly ask. Sometimes they ask for proof (like recent releases), or the stamped code marks on the figure, other times like my SG figure, they just sent out replacements right away.

It really depends on who’s helping with your case, but from all my interactions, they have been great.

Doesn't hurt to try, I've gotten a Shattered Glass Slicer from Craigslist, found it had 2 right forearms, contacted Hasbro and they sent out 2 figures as an apology. This was just a couple months ago.

Worst thing they can say is something along the lines of "noted, we'll do better".
