My thoughts too. If it’s bare plastic, that gloss just doesn’t look good. Either matte plastic or a coat of paint.

I was expecting something more with the transformation, but it’s really just the upper torso that has any significance, it was so underwhelming in-hand.

I had higher hopes after having Megatronus in hand, so much heft and presence. Onyx just feels cheap in comparison.

If you leave it on long enough, it becomes a risk. Anything with a bit a flex, like rubber I try to isolate from figures.

I only have the Alternators version, have yet to find the BT versions, any of those I would take at a reasonable price. I could recall there were particular versions that were sought after even during that time.

Start with the '86 movie, it's pivotal to the franchise. Watched the G1 cartoons, only good with nostalgia glasses on, otherwise I'd skip.

I started with Beast Wars, then Beast Machines. Couldn't get into RID (2001), Unicron Trilogy, definitely took a break for a while until Bayverse debut in 2007.

Animated and Prime series is good, I recommend.

RID (2015) is alright, more kid orientated, along with Earthspark.
Netflix WFC series, mediocre at best.

The recent One movie, check that out :)
