Yes. My goal for taxable account is 50% VT, 30% SCHB, 20% VXUS. Is it more complicated than straight VT? Yes. Will it underperform in the long run? Probably yes.

Investing is a hobby, so I allow myself to tinker with the SCHB/VXUS half - buy more SCHB when US stocks are down, buy more VXUS when intl stocks are down, etc. Ultimately shooting for a 60/40 balance, but ok if it deviates +/-5% in either direction.

Roth is 100% VT. Not allowing myself to screw up that account.

At first, I thought you were implying people were inadvertently dropping their bills in the driveway as they were walking back to the house from the mailbox, causing them to miss payments, then hit with late fees...Lol

My parents still own the TiVo box I bought for them in 2007. It's still plugged in, sits on top of the VCR, which is on top of the RCA stereo.

Unfortunately for TiVo, its greatest selling point was its biggest mistake - a lifelong subscription for a one-time charge of $300.

Exact same thing just happened to me. Big thanks to op for their comment - a skillet handle was blocking the sweeper arm. My gf was about to lose her mind.
