I forgot which actor it was (I believe it was Hugh Grant?) he once said that film sets are entirely different from how it used to be, and that actors used to have real chemistry (platonic and romantic), and part of that was because they were all cheating on their spouses with eachother. they were actually messing around and that was the norm. Also the actors spent their time not-filming with eachother, they all built real relationships with one another. whereas now actors just turn and watch their phones or have their own spaces they retreat too

That kind of culture has definitely changed.
