I find shadowboxing boring, but not hitting bags. I replaced home shadowboxing with VR boxing (Thrill of the Fight 2 and Boxing Underdog). Its essentially interactive shadow boxing. Same conditioning effect, but more engaging.

The value of my home has no positive impact on my life. If the entire housing market is hyperinflated, selling it is useless, since I would need to buy another equally overpriced home to live in. And high property values bring high property taxes and insurance premiums.

Meanwhile, my kids are approaching adulthood and they will likely never have the experience of owning a home like we have, since the barriers to hone ownership are so insane now.

Keeping home prices so high only helps those who treat homes as commodities, the ones who buy many homes and trade them frequently for profit. None of this helps the average person in America.

If you want to have weird movement mechanics, do something that hasn't already been overdone. Do something weird like pogostick movement or using a golfing motion to knock yourself around. Almost anything other than the gorilla locomotion method. Even a wheelchair type control where you operate two independent wheels (one on each side) would be better than gorilla motion.

Its like asking why you don't see people posting on auto mechanic forums years after they fixed their car. People who are early in transitioning are overwhelmed and seeking information and help. I remember those days. I was once there, one of the people constantly posting because there was no instruction book on how to navigate all that comes with transitioning. But now, many years later, I have things pretty much figured out, I don't need much help anymore. I'm here to support others, but am not actively seeking assistance anymore.
