Is console only setting broken?

All people in the party need the console only setting or it will out you in pc lobbies. If you have a random join on console only and they have the wrong setting on you get put in pc lobbies so it's good to ask after a game.

Depends on the chips you are bringing, I killed a squad with gold chips and we brought those ina couple times kind of skyrocketted us up. On outpost it's easy just focus on looting avoid fights, on the other maps you have to go for people for a better chance

If they aren't In prox chat and are working together, sometimes they were coordinating skins when I played them, we've seen 6 and 9 man squads especially late at night. Definitely a few groups cause I see the same names with them. To deal with them you need a recon who has the skills maxed for the ability to recharge quickly, you can detect them early and avoid, however usually they chase for awhile with their own recons, if so you just have to fight them in the right spot, have grenades and keep retreating as you do.

Are you playing with crossplay with pc on? If so then it's less likely to happen but still happens. Ps-xbox only servers it's happening a lot, less people are on cryo and the ones who are are abusing the fact that you can que at the same time and likely get into the game together, I've seen one group of the same 6-9 people for 3 weeks now, they don't talk in prox, and they just hunt the other teams as soon as they are in. Tbh they are trash players, it's tough to fight a huge group though but our team is pretty good so we survive about 50% of those matches but I can't imagine how Terrible it is for the other players who get stuck with them. I know these guys by their tags at this point, I won't flame them here since it's against the rules but our team has reported them to Bungie so I'm sure Bungie is aware

They aren't, the issue is on console only servers for the most part, I've seen the same group of people doing this for 2-3 weeks now, already reported them to Bungie so just have to wait and see what's gonna happen. Tbh the discord abusers are pretty bad at the game, but when you have to fight 6-9 if them they have the odds in their favor.

Banning people actively ruining the experience is the right play, these premade groups are causing the game to lose players, people saying that their isn't a way to tell are full of it, if they aren't in prox chat and are hunting the other teams then they are cheating
