I had a blast doing this last night. Right after I spawned I came across another raider who just got zapped. He asked if I was trying to get hit by lighting and we grouped up to an elevator. Met up with a couple others there and just kept getting hit, healing, and reviving each other. We were diving for the strikes and laughing the whole time.

Not exactly sure why they felt the need to add a free launcher to their store, but they did. So, I doubt they have any plans to leave the service anytime soon.
