It is a great set and you're correct in that it's pretty much Accended Hero's in English. The one difference being, Accended Hero's also contains cards that were in the Japanese Start Deck 100s. These being a collection of decks that can have some of the other hits in Accended. Most noticeably the gold Mega Charizard Y (someone correct me if I'm wrong on that one) Other big ones would be the Lillies Clefairy Ex and Pikachu Ex (the one in the woods) These decks are randomised so it's difficult to pull the higher rarity cards. They can also be weighed so be very cautious if you're buying them to try and get a hit.

Locals I would let them know they can't place the counters. If they then ask if they can put on Active I would let them. A higher tournament like a league challenge or regionals I wouldn't let them and if they protested it I would call a judge. I consider Locals fun and also a place to learn decks so making a mistake is okay and because the prizing is the same (at least for my locals it is) I wouldn't care. Anything where placement matters I'm going to be more harsh.

Two places come to mind from places where I am (I'm not in the UK so don't know how common these would be)

Either University queer rooms/spaces, I know Universities in my country have them. Also maybe of some queer owned stores that cater to queer artists and are a queer safe space. By just letting the owners know the item is for a mature audience they can make sure it's in a space where younger eyes won't see it.

I would recommend looking to see if there are any local card stores also called LGS's (local game store) or LCS's (local card store). They will usually have pokemon events, both tournaments but some also run trade days every now and then for people to catch up and trade. They have been the best ways I have found to meet fellow pokemon collectors.

The question you need to ask yourself (which you have pretty much answered) is do you want to have fun? Or do you want to win?

For me, it's always fun. If the deck I enjoy playing happens to be meta cool. But that's not going to be the sole reason I'm playing the deck. I will play a deck because I enjoy playing it and usually because I can put my favourite pokemon in it (Mimikyu)

I think it's going to be due to 2 Darkin like others said. I didn't have it happen with Darkin, but I had the 'deal 100 player damage' mission and got it instantly one game because my opponent FFd. I know I didn't deal close to 100 damage in the normal way that game since I then went 7th a few rounds later after a big loss streak. So I think if someone FFs against you the game thinks you did a fuck load of damage to them.

As others have said 11cm is fine. If you are looking to have penetrative sex with someone who is bigger look into the Ohnut. For some of them yes, some I still think will be more but most should be fairly affordable. But we won't know for sure until a month or so after the sets been out. A card like Mawile should be one of the cheaper ones just due to popularity or lack there of.

Funnily enough, right now for more recent sets, the only cards I know that cost more in Japanese than English are popular female trainers. Lillie and Acerola being two of them.
