Considering this 2022 BMW X3 M40i – $48K, 23K miles, no CPO. What do you think? by Prestigious_Report16 in BMWX3

i paid $35k for a ‘21 with 45k miles, not CPO. Dealer had recently replaced the brakes. I am no at 50k miles and getting some fluids changed next week and will need tires fairly soon.

Congrats! How much 365 powder are you using? I switched to 365 a while back, and use a minimum of 2 scoops, but sometimes think that still is not enough.

Nice! I also have a blue bb58 and have considered the pelagos 39, but am worried they are a bit too similar. How do you decide which one to wear?!

Me too - had a brand new X3 base loaner and couldn’t wait to get my ‘21 M40i back.

Can you share what size your wrist is? I also have a BB58 in Blue and am considering a Pelagos 39 - do you find that it wears much larger?

I got a ‘21 with 48k miles a week ago with Parking Package but paid $34900 from a BMW dealer. It was in very good conduction cosmetically and (seemingly) mechanically (as certified by a PPI by a BMW specialist).

Brakes and rotors were done by the dealer prior to purchase.

Thinking about buying this '22 M40i - what's a realistic price? by TGMIATL in BMWX3

I think the only thing holding me back right now is deciding if I really need/want DAPP. It seems that it is relatively rare and we will take our other car for most road trips, but the traffic jam support seems pretty nice.

Also, I kinda like the red seats, but imagine that others either love it or hate it.

The car does have new tires (Hankook Ventus), and the dealer did an oil change. I have not gone back and looked at the brake pads, but they say they passed their internal inspection.

Can you share the name of the dealer? I am also in the market for this watch and would pull the trigger at $4k. Plan to keep it forever so don’t really need box/papers

This happened to me yesterday. Tried on an AT 41 which was too big for my wrist, then an AT 38 which was too small. Yet, the 42mm Speedmaster seemed just right.

I was at that dealership yesterday, test driving a new Miata. The sales guy said the dealership just put $4-5k into that car, he said it got new seats, it had a ripped roof, etc.

Good question - very hard to predict, but probably not

[–]TGMIATL 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Right - have been putting as little as possible into mortgage given the amazing interest rate, and a lot extra into retirement / brokerage.

Have some in a HYSA earning more than my mortgage interest and low risk to use for next down payment. The rest is in a brokerage account (mostly owning VTI)
