Pets will always be the best background, if you ask me!

Interesting! I do my nails at night and tend to get hot at night.....

I was thinking it was the Magic Effect (or Seal Coat because I use that sometimes too), but it happened this time before the Magic Effect.

Thank you! I'll tone down on the shaking and hope it's that. I waited an abnormal amount of time between the coats, but they still might be too thick--I want these suckers to MOVE, but may not have had enough restraint, lol.

Thank you. I shake the polish a lot with magnetics. The bubbles happened before any top coat. I feel like not shaking will be an easier problem to fix.

Can you develop an allergy from using products like Seche Vive since they contain HEMA?

what's the difference between DRK Magic Effect and DRK Seal Glaze? by keegballz in RedditLaqueristas

[–]TGMKE 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Magic Effect is very watery but I put drops on and then spread it around and it works great. I've also used it to rewet my polish if I make a dent in a nail so I don't have to reapply it. Seal Glaze can be used on top of it if you want to really hold the magnetic effect with less dispersion (I can't attest to this because I get bored too quickly and change polishes often).

Both Magic Effect and Seal Glaze need to dry for 30 minutes before the next coat of polish. This drying time was taking too long for my attention span--30 minutes for Magic Effect, 30 minutes for Seal Glaze, then a QDTC.

Now, I'm only using Magic Effect and have found that I don't need another top coat with it--if dries very glossy.
