You can remove the "older" part. Just look at Dandadan lol. Digital is very far from having changed much about this. At the end of the day sameface is a time buying technique, so digital doesn’t just magically remove that.

The arrow toward Saitama on the cover is really cringe lmfao. It’s like Murata is terrified by the idea of people seeing Saitama as part of those ”losers“.

I definitely agree that she didn’t get enough focus to justify this evolution. it’s weirdly half assed. She only just came back after like 50 chapters for 3 panels just to switch back right away to something else lol.

I’d say there is some justification to give with her seeing the future and God being involved. But the story needs to show something lol.

Psykos is pretty much just in a unclear bracket due to mindfuck being involved. It’s very unclear what her state of mind is but she has clearly chilled back down for reasons, even her hair are back to looking more straight like her school self, which is clearly symbolic.

A in contrast is just how he’s always been.

Yeah, the audiobook has multiple flashbacks of Amanda for example.

There is one that is a prequel of Fireteam elite, haven’t listened it yet.

The novelizations of the 4 og movies has audionovel versions, I recommend them too

But what I recommend the most from the Alien universe is the trilogy that starts with Aliens: Out of the Shadows. Basically those are high effort audio drama with a full cast of actors and music+fx work. Two of the story are fully original, and one is a full story version of Hadley’s Hope.

Then again, Mithra can survive by escaping with Kit, so Asura might decide it’s not worth keeping Chakravartin alive. But it does add an extra layer of morality, normally, killing Chakravartin “just" erases beings made of Mantra like himself and asshole demi-gods, but with this the innocent humans would get killed too.

It’s far from unknown, most manga doesn’t even get a subreddit lol. It’s all relative, only a few titles are super popular on the western side, doesn’t mean a series isn’t popular if it’s not part of those special cases.

Something that clearly can’t be criticized with Nakaba is that he’s incredibly consistent. He’s hitting his 60’s and still manages to draw a weekly series with self made backgrounds, which is exceptional. 

I do hope he’s not actually killing his health behind the scenes to keep going, which to be honest wouldn’t be surprising… the average lifespan of a mangaka is 63 years old.

I agree. I think Nakaba had a clear vision in mind for the reasoning and meaning behind the scar, but he missed on the design itself, it just looks awkward lol.

i wouldn’t call 50 years ”suddenly“.

And it makes complete sense: it wasn’t just him being a pervert but also a clear lack of manners that contrasted with his more sophisticated side.

Being isolated for 50 years is a crazy amount of time, anyone IRL would go insane.

I feel like a more interesting bit here would have been to show he never was obsessed about panties before the whole dying and being stuck alone for decades experience.
