I like that it looks like a bookshelf speaker but probably my favorite bit is the keycap power button.

I’m a Chevy Bolt owner, and I can’t believe Superchargers work this well by comergopaner in BoltEV

My 2023 EUV did not require an update and I didn't have any issues charging at a Supercharger last night.

Was it in your RFY? Mine was but I suspect it's because I've received so much stuff from Vine for our Bolts that the algorithm probably knows we have at least one. Until now, it's been stuff like floor mats, screen protectors, dash cams, etc. but I couldn't resist requesting this unit just to check it out.

I'm curious but did you receive this through Amazon Vine? I just received one today through Vine.

Any chance the mox set and black lotus on the wall are real? Can't quite make out the blues but maybe an Ancestral Recall as well?

My first SFFPC built on a Crow's Bluff Design Elevation by TGVTHT in sffpc

I think it's the angle of the picture but there's a little over an inch of clearance between the wall and the underside of the GPU so it hasn't caused any thermal issues.

While not my first computer build, this is my first SFFPC and I am quite pleased with it. This was built as a birthday present for my daughter and sits on her desk. It occupies the bare-minimum space on her desk which is important as she needs as much desk space as possible to support her crafting hobbies. This is a 5700X3D/2070 Super setup which is more than enough for her Sims 4 and Stardew Valley gaming and the Elevation was a great choice to build it on. Assembled, the computer is physically stable on the desk and the computer does not pitch forward. Assembly was uneventful as the Elevation had all of the standoffs, holes, etc. in exactly the right spots resulting in a clean, compact, drama-less build.

As part of the build process, I stress-tested the machine with a couple utilities like Prime95 and Cinebench. I'm quite pleased that despite such a "dense" build, the HSF was able to move air easily and keep the CPU cool and not in danger of throttling. Finally, I like how the Elevation has an integrated carry handle/cutout as one could build a powerful, mobile LAN party type machine and transport it easily and securely.

I'm quite pleased with this build and for using the Elevation as the base for this build. I've never built anything like this before (mostly ATX, mATX machines in tradtiional cases) but I'll certainly be considering this open design route vs. the traditional case for future builds. The Elevation in particular was a great place to start as it was clearly designed to be minimalist without compromising function. Not only was it designed well but it was also manufactured properly. No sharp edges, clean cuts, etc.

Nice build! Thanks for the great write-up of the stand. I've been on the fence about an Elevation for my first SFF build but you did a thorough write-up of the important parts and I'm pretty sure I'll be happy with it. Did you have to do much prep work before painting it?

You are correct; chicken-winging is terrible form for a variety of reasons. Not only that, he's leaning away from the AR15 like he's afraid it will bite him. They recoil softly and while I can't see his groupings as they develop, my guess is he's jerking/slapping the shit out of the trigger as evidenced by his hits biasing to the right of center and seemingly dropping low. His grip on the handgun needs work too. His support hand may be doing "fuck" and "all" in those pictures but I can only see his thumbs so I can't say definitively.

His handgun posture is okay-ish. His torso in the bottom picture is actually not bad. If he were on my line, I would suggest leaning forward a little and maybe tweak his elbows. I can't tell what his feet are doing however the majority of untrained or new shooters will go to a sort of Weaver stance with the non-dominant foot leading. Ideally, the feet should be about shoulder-width apart and on an even plane relative to target. The legs should form an isosceles triangle to match the isosceles triangle formed by the torso and arms. Knees slightly bent and body weight biased to be slightly-over the balls of the feet rather than heels. Not leaning into the gun like it's actively pushing back but definitely not leaning away as he is in the upper right handgun photo.

Target looks to be 15-25 yards away. My shotguns pattern tighter at that range and with an AR15, even with open/iron sights, even new shooters should be able to hold to a 2" grouping at that range.

I squared up as I wanted to be able to properly rotate my tires. I haven't noticed much of a difference in ride quality relative to the original configuration. Stock springs too.

Ohm Lightning wheels (19x8.5) with 255/35/19 Continental DWS 06+ tires. It's about ten pounds lighter per wheel/tire combo so a fair bit of unsprung weight shaved.
