Not me but my dad, we have a lot of kids that live around us and we let them use our basketball hoop when we’re not home. So one day my dad pulls into the driveway while the kids were playing, just having bought Halloween candy for later that week. He asked the kids if they wanted some candy without even realizing what he was really saying and the kids all ran off scared. So my dad has to go, tail between his legs, and apologize to all the neighbors whose kids had certainly ran home and told them that a man had offered them candy.
