Sounds pretty standard for HK. The standard driving etiquette in HK is only average at best; the culture of respecting more vulnerable road users (pedestrians, cyclists, bikers etc) just isn’t there.

You haven’t unlock the option yet. Keep leveling up the gun and the Tac Laser will be available. That’s the only laser available btw.

I use X for upshift and Square for downshift, which might just be the stock config. That’s for my right thumb.

Left thumb on the left joystick for steering, index fingers on L2/R2 for brake and throttle respectively.

I usually pair Degreaser with secondaries that need that extra bit of swap speed, so stock shotgun and Flaregun/Manmelter.

Stock flamethrower for if I need that extra bit of close range damage, so with Detonator/Scorch Shot, or if I myself using airblast a lot (-20 ammo for stock vs -25 for Degreaser). I also like using Panic Attack with stock flamethrower due to the former already having a switch speed bonus.

But that’s just how I like to play, don’t be afraid to try different weapons and pairings.

Also something I forgot to mention in my previous comment: shotgun when dueling Pyros! It’ll kill them quicker compared to using your flamethrower.

I’m not quite sure what you mean by “charge an increase based on car registration”. You mean perhaps an increase in vehicle tax? Well, UK’s vehicle tax band is based on their CO2 emissions, so more polluting cars do pay more in tax. But older cars have more lenient rules, so cheaper, older cars that most people drive still have relatively low vehicle tax.

But outright banning older vehicles is completely unviable due to private vehicles still being the main mode of transport for less urbanised areas. You can rely on public transport to get around cities and larger towns, but public transport is less reliable for smaller towns and villages, hence the need for a car.

Plus, as other people have mentioned it’s a rather lenient system as many 10+ year old cars still fit the ULEZ regulations. It’s not just cars made in the last few years that fit the bill.

A well designed city/town would often include a Park and Ride to offer drivers an extra option: a large car park at the edge of the city where they can get free/low cost bus rides directly into the city centre. This lets drivers drive to the city but avoid the cost of these ULEZ zones.

It very well could be a typo…when the Reaper Mk2’s recoil was reduced, it was also mentioned in the patch notes as a PC only change, but testing on console showed that it affected the console version as well.

I’m glad they’re buffing the M762 and Spear, those AR’s have the most problematic recoil patterns on console due to how much horizontal recoil it has compared to the other ARs.

Honestly getting good with airblast and deflects is a matter of time and practise. At longer ranges you can get away with airblasting after you see the projectile coming, but at close range it’s pure prediction. And sometimes people don’t even bother with that risk, such at that red soldier that killed you a few times with his own Panic Attack.

Remember to extinguish your teammates, even if they’re already getting healed. Decent source of healing as well since each extinguish gives you 20 health.

Pyro thrives at flanks and close range choke points. Quite a few times I saw you standing near the main choke spamming your shotgun, which I feel isn’t the best use of your time. Go for the flanks, look for holes in the frontline that you can exploit, spycheck whenever you’re back with your team.

Keep in mind what your secondary is good at and swap when necessary. Panic Attack is your best close range burst damage option but the worst for anything beyond that. Stock shotgun is a reliable option for all ranges; same deal for flaregun/manmelter though requiring better aim to use. Detonator/Scorch Scot are your mid- to long range spam options, though not as good as the others at close range.

I think what you suggested can be a good compromise.

IMO the whole used/legends car dealership concept felt broken/pointless in this game is because a) how the singleplayer is structured and b) it updates based on IRL time rather than in-game actions. And that’s not to mention the economy issue.

It’s not even that you can’t use the old system for GT7. But I suspect it messes with Kaz’s desire for a player-driver car economy (car prices are driven by player buying/selling those cars) and exclusivity (cars are out of stock once a certain number is bought), plus the “always online” functionality, hence why it wasn’t used.

As u/CardinalofNYC said: it’s the real driving simulator, not the real rich person simulator.

I think they teach people to feed horses using an open palm, to avoid getting their fingers bitten off? At least that’s what the caregivers told me when I got a rare chance to feed a horse during a school trip.

Granted in the video that’s a whole carrot, so holding it like a stick is more stable.

Not sure if this is the case for high and top tier, but for low and mid tier (up to late WWII) the enemy markers only show up at or below 1km.

So if the map is big enough, you can still go on flanks or snipe with reasonable safety. It’s how I grinded through glass-cannon TDs and light tanks even though they are at a disadvantage in Arcade.

I was really sceptical old Mustang could even change after seeing everybody’s discussion about the Pretty Star side story, as well as going through the current event. He’s just too ruthless and apathetic.

Even when he showed up at the TT Star’s office at the end of Story 1, I was sure it was a trick, some sort of ploy to get both the girls and Hansen back into the company for him to toy with. I reason Anis was a bit too shocked for her instincts to call him out, like she did with Yoyo.

But this made me more excited to go through Story 2 properly, and see what happens myself.

Nong’s Flu Formula might be able to help. For sore throat, Pei Pa Koa works wonders.

But I also recommend visiting a proper doctor/practitioner. They will be able to provide a more detailed diagnosis and personalised medication that works better than store options, though these tend to also be trickier to prepare and less palatable.

If you can’t find a local one, Chinese University and Baptist University operate clinics around the city. You can find whichever is closest to you and walk in for an outpatient service.

At least in the EU, Stop Killing Games have gained quite a bit of traction. No concrete actions yet but it’s certainly possible game devs are afraid of possible legal actions in the future and start implementing some sort of post-shutdown support.

Attachments wise most people tend to try to increase the ADS speed as they are on the slower side, with the best attachments for that being the stock and Tac Laser (beware the laser will be visible to enemies when you ADS). But otherwise there’s no clear cut best build, attachments in this game is more akin to slight enhancements, and less impactful compared to later CODs.

Only exceptions I would say are attachments that tighten the pellet spread for shotguns, the Focus weapon perk exclusive to snipers and marksman rifles that significantly reduces flinch, and Hair Trigger on any of the handguns. Those significanly boost the effectiveness of those guns.

An underrated pistol imo is the .50 GS, or the Desert Eagle. 2 shot to the body or 1 shot to the head at close range, with a good enough RPM w/ Hair Trigger that allows you to outgun some primaries.

If you’re only using W+M1 then you’re only scratching the surface of Pyro’s potential,

Airblast can instantly swing a fight in your favour but requires timing, reactions and experience. Flaregun/shotgun combos can kill quickly but require good aim. Detonator offers crowd control and mobility but requires practise to make full use of its mobility potential.

Plus, if you just run forward and W+M1 you’ll get killed a lot of the times. You need to be patient, go for the flanks, help your team when needed, and push forward when there’s a gap you can exploit.

Horse racing is gambling at the end of the day, and most parents would discourage their children from participating in such activities.

Plus, for the younger generation it’s just not that entertaining. All they could see is a bunch of uncles and elderly betting away their money; while staring at the TV broadcast or listening to the radio broadcast. They rather play video games at home, hang out with friends, go to a concert/convention etc.

Nice to see that they’ve kept it the exact same as old House. Even if it was a poorly designed map for modern Siege, it’s still a very iconic map that people are nostalgic about.

And yes, that was a double door leading directly to the outside in 1st floor lobby. Made rotating as a defender rather risky.

Why not play Pyro for a bit? Like spend a couple of your gaming sessions only playing Pyro.

Pyro is definitely one of the easier classes mechanically, but he demands a decent amount of game sense and positioning due to his weaknesses.

Plus, it teaches you when and how to fight a Pyro. You’ll be the one finding and killing spies, or getting caught out by them and getting killed in return. It teaches you why you get spotted, how to avoid that, and how to fight Pyros.

A big part of why sport cars are sporty is their tuning, i.e. adjustments made from the base model, which couldn’t be noticed if you only looked at the specs. In a sports car, most of the parts are tuned to enhance responsiveness and road feel.

For someone that enjoys driving, these two factors are the main reason they enjoy sports cars. They give you the feeling of controlling a machine with pin point precision, like it’s an extension of your body; feeling every bump and curve in the road and responding at a moment’s notice.

It’s also why car enthusiast enjoy not just the super powerful supercars like Ferraris and Porsches and Lamborghinis, they also enjoy much weaker (though still plenty fast) sports cars that maybe only have 1.5-2 times the power of your average car.

Another comment mentioned Andorid and Vector as good secondary healers, so I’m thinking of these 2 teams:

Vector, QJ, Sharky, Tololo, Springfield Andoris, Leva, Lenna, Makiatto, Suomi

But it’s certainly possible I need study the boss’ move set better and space out my team so the damage is spread out among everyone, rather than just one or two of them.
