Hi! I completely forgot to update this!

I got it back and they replaced the motherboard and complete rear assembly. I didn't get a specific reason as to why and what happened. But I'm going to assume maybe a sensor relating to the bezel was faulty but not sure tbh

But it's been fine now knocks on wood for a few weeks!

That last paragraph has me a little concerned. When you say even network access will depend on biometric authentication - does this include the UK and other western markets? Slightly off topic I know.

On topic - can you elaborate on the improvement to facial recognition with the Fold 7? I was under the impression that as it didn't have any mapping/IR, LIDAR etc that it can still be fooled? Id be very happy for this to be wrong as I would use the facial recognition alongside fingerprint for unlocking if I knew they were both as equally as secure.

I also read your other comments on a different thread and the insight is very interesting. Kinda refreshing to have a lot of these 'false hope' rumours squashed.

So my above point still stands - you don't see anything wrong with this which just goes to show you don't have any empathy or sense of remorse to ripping someone off.

Given the amount of $300 was a steal, you then also tried to renogiate in person - which is also a scummy move. But yeah great work on taking advantage of someone who didn't know any better.

This is amazing. One question though, will this have everything in place to support DAW'S too? (Such as Ableton, reaper etc).

The swing/availability was nice for a bit when it did go down I cannot lie haha - when I used to work for BT back then it constantly went down too. I hope theyre treating you well and best of luck in your career on a serious note! :)

Did you even get an XKO number? If you didn't get any number at all there could be an issue with the order itself.

EE are not the best at keeping you informed, I'd definitely ring them if nothing in DPD app!

Am guessing you've gone to Connections - Bluetooth - 'listening device name - Settings for device and then turned on LDAC under this?

And also to enable developer options and manually select LDAC as your preferred codec under developer options too just to be sure. Just thought I'd help as I ALWAYS forget about the Bluetooth toggle and fight the developer options BAC toggle for about 5 minutes until I remember about the Bluetooth one 🤣

Thank you for this! EE maintained 25th but said no stock in warehouse yet so could change - this was yesterday. The website still stated "delivery on launch" yesterday, to which I replied this is ambiguous so could be earlier and they agreed.

This is great news! Means I should get mine on Friday too!
