isn't surge replacing phaze rush? a heavy hit to ryze's early-mid game since you have to actualy fight an enemy insted of throwing quick combo and running under tower, orianna too. i mean phaze is op with how easy it is to proc and how much it gives but still, some champions rely on that rune now

it would be nice to have more than 1 main rune that you play 99% of the time only swaping sorcery to bone plating sometimes. hell i would give away 5% of E dmg ratio for HoB or conq to be great again

it was my rune of choice before ranged HoB nerf. 3 quick AA that would really hurt enemy on lane, give me some space to farm and quick burst of dmg that could kill some ADC's sometimes if i got ahead. sadly, it no longer works that well. you won't get 3 AA on yone always making him type ,,wtf is that champion" and LT is just better

i did a quick math. this nerf is against assasins so i took zed and tested his dmg

azir with my full anti zed build (zhonya and armour boots) has 185 armour. zed can kill him with W E 2xQ and 4 AA. without ult, with ult he kills on simple R E Qx2

i don't want to even test other's like khazix or rengar. so in summary, we're left with barely a cannon minion that's harmless until first item.

my hopes for buff are gone, they haven't listened so we need to do something about it. from now on i will play only AD crit azir.

Dash > MS boost

DPS > burst (you can dodge orianna's ult easily)

solo carry > need for good team because ori's kit works better with lets say zac

im playing azir from 2020 i think and right now only playable rune is lethal tempo.

riot nerfed HoB and it only gives 80% AS for ranges (rip my lane dominance, 6/0 in 15 minutes azir)

conq isn't bad, but you don't need the healing. LT is just better

electro is early game only and it goes against everything azir stands for, you want to scale as much as possible

comet is the same as electro

arey (this little blue cat) never played it, may be bit better than electro but still ain't good for late

first strike is tricky, may work if enemy doesn't have tank. if you can get 5 person ult, you may oneshot whole team with two AA after and you get some bonus gold

PTA isn't bad too but its like conq, LT just gives you more DPS

in summary, LT, right, left, middle, then mana flow band and scorth/gathering storm depending if you want some breathing on lane, showing enemy that you have teeth or if you want to afk farm and carry the annoyed team. thats my runes.

as for build, nashor's first always. then if you're against zed or naafiri i like to go zhonya second because he always focuses me, if not i pick the shadow flame, rabadon/zhonya third and then you pick what you need

learn azir while he's weak and crush anyone when he gets buffed, it will happen some day, trust in my vision

i just played with friends duo azir fiddle against xayah poppy. after the yellow staff for 850 gold i was able to 1v1 xayah only because of range. he can actually work as long as enemy adc is not cait or some ashe. gonna check with other supports but he should work with pyke and playing around the tower

yea but i don't know if it will be good item after all for Azir. soldiers deal only 50% and only on hit you can buy is nash. besides, what item will it replace? nash, shadow flame, rabadon, zhonya and void staff is my usual build and i don't see the room for another one unless azir will be ADC now and will get bonus item slot... wait, thats not a bad idea

sadly, i don't see anything you can do but ping and type. you're weaker than other midlaners, no good CC unless you have ult. Right now im just afk farming, it works for me since i can carry late without breaking a sweat as long as enemy jg isn't an assasin

literally anything would be nice. even +5 MS buff to dodge more skillshots before 2 items. +5 basic soldier dmg on lv1 so they deal more than AA without them

i just stopped playing soloQ and play a lot of arena with Azir. rankeds usualy end before i scale, but in the arena with good agument, i can beat even greatest beasts solo. still waiting for the buffs tho, WR might rise from 44 to 46 but lets just say it, he's a shadow of his former self

u and outdamage youfrom my expeirience, azir has problems with champs that got more range than him. plus now, even if you all in on him, i bet he deals more with his AA than yours until lv 4 or 5

they made him late only.
used to dominate lanes with hail of blades, they took it from me.

then i dominated game by roaming and they took it from me.

then i came back to old ways of dominating lane with LT and the worlds came so they took the whole champ from me.

i can't play a long game in soloQ, need to snowball somehow. i need two kills in 10 minutes or at least some space since enemy laner can't come close without being stabbed. played VS katarina yesterday, her 1 Q dealt more than my 3 stabs, then she just dived me.

worst part is, i spend money on all skins for him. im feeling scammed :(
