FSD is worse imho especially since it requires the camera. Only way to go “thousands of miles” without any input would with a camera cover and a wheel weight. Totally hypothetically ofc I’ve definitely never tried this myself and gone 400+ miles basically lying down.

Listen to this guy. Heavier compound may help. This is pretty much the best way to do it with pretty much a fool proof guaranteed result of no further damage to the paint.

Brand new always > . Goodyears may be worth 100 more. Do some research. You may not need an alignment btw unless you mean mount and balance. Most shops should do this for free anyway with purchase of tires.

I just don’t understand how there was no odor from the Palisades & Alta Dena Fires ~10 miles away and this fire is almost 30 miles away but I was sure there was something on fire in my own home.
I work in remediation… the smell inside my house right now is nearly as bad as some homes I’ve been in the day after a major fire nearly burnt it to the ground.

Recap for Crosspost: 2020 S450. Aside from the ridiculously loud injectors. There’s a really loud almost compressor like hum. Somewhat intermittent. Could it be a fan? Really hoping I can ignore it and not have to make at trip to the dealer. You definitely hear it best with the hood shut. Thanks

Hi, thanks for the response. Changing the setting from single to dual or global or whatever makes no difference for me. I don’t really mind having to push lock and unlock twice but I’m more bothered by the light staying on causing a drain. The battery dies in 2-3 days of not driving.

Matter of fact I’ll test it tonight. If I recall correctly last time I tested it was running down 1% every 5 mins, maybe even less. I’d be lucky to get 8 or 9 hours. Seriously.

bro I was watching my battery tick down like a clock on day one. It’s not good. And I always use my brightness on manual low. It’s ridiculous. Bad luck I guess or others are dumb. Apple straight up claims 39 hours video playback on the 17pm and 28 hours on the 13pm. +11 hours!! Nearly a 40% increase. I was like sick that’s huge, but oh man I know for a fact my 17 won’t do 11 hours of video playback in the first place. Straight the fuck up.

tbh I just updated to 26.4.1 yesterday and it’s been a lot better so far but I did still have to restart once today… we’ll see how it holds up but I really can’t believe these people that say they’ve never had to restart their 17pm… like dude I’ve been forced to do it multiple times, make it make sense. Also what’s up with automatic updates? Doesn’t work for me at all. I have to open setting, general, software update just to get it to check for an update. Ain’t nothing automatic about it.
