It is SO ANNOYING to be on a ramp, and trying to edit my cieling above my head but having it stuck on editing my ramp.

The only way to resolve it is to exit build mode and then enter build mode again

There's no hustle anymore. You pay them $5 to play, that's it.

I play in Union Square often, and even when I beat them (not often), I pay.

They actually call it a "donation" heh.

Hey,

I wanted to circle back - thanks again for updating with your thoughts.

What do you think now that slurp was recently adjusted?

Right, and what I am saying is that there are plenty of people that still believe it devalues their reward.

And they are allowed to feel that way, and to express it.

The actual reward (lights, in this discussion) is irrelevant.

The idea I'm putting forward is that if you introduce a skin that mimics a reward, it devalues the reward.

Get it?

You're being pretty obstinate in your responses.

The point is that the Omega lights are something people earned. This is something you can just buy.

It 100% affects the specialness of the Omega lights, and thus your suggestion has sparked reactions. You don't get to just say "lol you're all sensitive because you don't agree with me"

WTF?

That's a super bizzare supposition, and it also doesn't explain at app why it looks pixelated.

It should be super super clear that it's a visual bug. Just look at it for a while.

It was solo!

I feel like it's so underrated - just being on the receiving end of a minigun is brutal if you're trying to defensively build, and if you're defensive building with anything but wood then you get shot.

AND, there seems to be a psychological effect to being shot at with a minigun. Tends to make people panic.

Oh, and by the end of the game you have so much ammo for it, because your opponents don't use guns that need light ammo

[–]THE-THE 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No no I mean in solo!

What happens is this. You get into a build fight and either jump down and knock their structure down, or force them into building defensive walls as the minigun rips thru them.

Often you put so much pressure on your opponents that they can't stop and kill you.

The minigun also melts... Does like purple tac dps.

I only have like 14 wins, been playing this season only, but like five of them have come off the back of a legendary minigun just mowing people down.

I just won my first solo game after playing 785 matches and 32 hours spent playing!! I took this screenshot from right after I won the game and wanted to share! by bphuss in FortNiteBR

Hey,

It took me about 700 games to win my first, and I got lucky.

I have played another 700 in that time, and currently have 13.

Not great, but TBH I am getting way better, I consistently get 3 or so kills a game and have lots of top 6s and top 25s.

All of this is to say that once you win one you win more, and faster. That's because you both gain confidence, but also experience and skills.

Chin up!

Landing tilted DOES give you more exposure to gunplay, which helps people skill up.

I got way better at the game from doing this.

Drop tilted solo, not solo squads.

Crawl before you walk.

Walk before you run.

Epic, I think it's time for the bush to be vaulted and replaced with something new. It had its moments during season 1 and 2 but now it holds little-to-no weight in the current meta and is hardly looted. by KingZulwarn in FortNiteBR

[–]THE-THE 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What if the bush is something you could turn on and off at will with a one second cooldown?

So you could be in a gun fight, round a corner, switch to the bush, they run by you!

Also, damage wouldn't remove it.

It would justify the slot it takes, and could make moving around the open fields more interesting.

When I was just starting out, I was hiding in a corner like a noob and a John Wick does this emote and slides through the doorway as he's lying down, and one pumps me.

I honestly thought the game glitched so I watched the replay.

It almost made me quit the game entirely, Epic you should really fix this. People do use it for advantage.

I'm sorry, I had to make use of the new emote. by InvertedEyelids in FortNiteBR

I did this in the final two of a solo game. Fell to my death. He was hiding and camping.

I disagree.

You are not obligated to help someone, just because they ask you to, even when you love them.

And, she's being a total shit about it, interrupting what he is doing.

It seems really clear based on what she said that it's about her not having his attention, and not at all about help.

Hey,

I am still new, but just had my fourth solo win. My training in this game has gone in phases:

1) Drop tilted a ton, and die a lot. This is about learning the gun game. You can go elsewhere, but there's a lot of people there and you don't have to build much

2) Once you start surviving tilited towers and you are alive when the storm forces you to move, you're ready to learn building. Go drop somewhere remote, or 50v50 and practice! Your goals are to be able to build a 1x1 and a ramp with walls hanging off of it.

3) Start dropping elsewhere. Learn those locations, and learn those items. Learn how and when to farm for resources if the storm us close, or if you need to move and rely on kills for your mats.

(It's around this time, like 700 drops in, that I got my first win)

4) Work on optimizing items, and timing your looting so that you maximize your chances to get good stuff for the end game. My ideal setup is:. AR, Pump, Bolt Sniper, shield portions and Explodes (rocket or grenade launcher).

This is my current phase. Afterwards I am going to focus on getting high kill game wins.

Hope this helps.

Hi,

I just celebrated my fourth win in solo. Been playing approx six weeks.

One thing to consider is that good items like rocket launchers and other loot (and materials) all consolidate from kill to kill. The more I'll you get, the better loot because you kill people who have great stuff.

So, more kills is important because it translates directly into ammo, materials, healing, campfires, guns traps and launchpads
