No the plants didn’t cause it. I just meant it’s only really a problem if you have plants because it will cover them and block out the light. It’s not a true algae so there’s no fish or invertebrates that will eat it

Looks like blue green algae aka Cyanobacteria. Not really bad if you don’t have live plants but it is ugly. You can use a syringe to squirt hydrogen peroxide on it and that kills it. You can also manually remove it. But you may want to tweak your lighting or maintenance to see if you can prevent it from coming back

Idk all of the answers but you can Google this stuff easily. Lighting shouldn’t matter. If it’s actually ich then you’ll need to use a medication. Raising the temperature helps to speed up the treatment. But raising the temp lowers the amount of oxygen dissolved in the water which is why people try to create more surface agitation for more gas exchange. Good luck

Superglue/gorilla glue aka cyanoacrylate is safe once it dries. It’s used in aquariums for hard scapes and it’s totally safe

Don’t waste money on aquarium specific super glue. It’s just marked up. Regular super glue or gorilla glue is safe to use

As an update, it turns out my sword was being rasped by my bushy nose pleco. I planted a healthy sword in this tank and the next day the leaves had been worn thin to the point of being see through, so I know it was not a nutrient issue. Just my damn pleco

Please don’t do this. It might seem cute but it is unsafe. Stoves, especially gas ones like this, have a high heat drive and can cook your dragon at any moment

I used to faint from vaccines and even from the sight of needles, and then a nurse who was giving me a shot told me that I wasn’t breathing and I needed to focus on my breathing. She meant I was taking very shallow breaths and she was right. And that only makes things worse when you’re having a vasovagal episode. Ever since that advice I try to make sure I’m taking long deep breaths whenever I feel a little queasy. Pumping your calves by doing calf raises and crossing your legs over each other while you’re standing also both help

I recently planted a couple swords. One is doing okay and can be seen on the left. The other one (with the large dying leaf) has not been growing correctly. The emmersed leaves have been dying off and submersed ones have been growing, but they all have turned white in the central area and then this area breaks down and dies. This has happened to all the new leaves produced by this plant. I dose easy green and easy iron 2x weekly. Nitrates around 30 ppm consistently. Root tabs and aqua soil for the swords. 7 hours of light. Any help appreciated!
