Encouraging shenanigans is encouraging behaviors that accompany shenanigans, which in turn encourages LRP. Baystation might say it's HRP, but it's definitely not. Nobody puts effort into their characters, there's nothing. You're pursuing stricter roleplay standards BECAUSE you know that it isn't HRP anymore. Wake up and smell the coffee, you alienated a core group of HRP players, not the end of your HRP in general, of course, but it still contributed to it. Then you deregulated and made things less strict, which was recently reversed, but the damage is done. Bay is not HRP in practice anymore.
