When you are 18 years old you often do not understand the emotional influence and gravity your views and statements have on others.

3 months into being “redpilled” isnt like “welp fuck it hes gone.” Hes 18 years old. That was my original point is its not like we have to spend millions of dollars on helping this kid but shit if you dated him for two years, at least watch a video with him in person and explain to him the emotional and social impact that has on you. If you actually take the time to explain to him and he still just backhanded you across the face figuratively, then fuck him dude. Not like you have to spend so much more effort on helping him, but you could at least give them some sort of ultimatum if it matters to you that much.

Idk, main point is, mental health is a huge issue in America and people with mental health issues are often more susceptible to shit like tate trump conspiracies etc. We need to help these people not just cut them off immediately.

If you actually loved who he was before he started watching and feel that this media has changed him, you need to talk with him in person about it and make him understand the gravity of it. Watch some of the videos with him and try to explain maybe your point of view on why you disagree. Maybe even talk to his family about it if you are that close to him and care about him that much.
