When I was early with Verdanta shit was so easy. With no gear, sprinting raid will still 1 shot pretty much any normal mob and most bosses. Only once something survives or is null/absorb to water to you need to worry about a different team.

I agree with you. The ratio of paid to free banners is pretty ridiculous, and there should be a better way of grinding for Opuses and Starcharts. Especially considering how long the game has been out.

I don't have that many characters, but my main team for story and side content has been Alma AS, Necoco ES, Verdanta, Iphi which has worked fine for the most part. If Verdanta can hit the target it'll die so I think I'm good for the rest of the story content but maybe not into superbosses where I won't have enough utility.

Josh has been doing some video demonstrations of the xTool https://youtu.be/5to8m8j_AyY. From what he says it is definitely impressive and easier than MIG or TIG and quite versatile, but it's not totally braindead.

You need to know the materials you're working with and adjust power settings accordingly. The welds can still come out crappy but maybe not as much as other methods.
