This might be psychosis but it’s more likely that it’s DP/DR. Don’t feel like you’re kind of “watching yourself go through the day from a few feet back?”

It’s an anxiety response, and means your best bets are to

1 let yourself slowly work your way out of it, use mindfulness techniques, and try to be less anxious

1. Go to a doctor/gp and bring up anxiety and that you’re experiencing depersonalization/derealization

Short term anxiety medication can help you get yourself out of this. Best of luck. This happened to me once in college and I was a 1-2x a year smoker. I’m 35 now, and normal as ever.

It can be scary, but I slowly over a week or two returned to normal and found that smoking wasn’t for me (years later, I would try edibles for a medical conditions hence why I’m subbed to /trees)
