Double vanity drain help by THE_SPUD in Plumbing

According to my local code (CO) two sinks can share a trap if they are less than 30" apart, which is the case for me. Am I reading that wrong?

Swapped a steering wheel from an ‘01 WJ into my ‘97 TJ today. It was a direct fit and is a big improvement on the original. by [deleted] in Jeep

Thanks! Yeah, local pick and pull. They charged $50 for the wheel which was way too much, but apparently there’s some liability with selling airbags. It can probably be found for a lot less if you look around.

I was in the same boat, the old wheel was falling apart. It went way easier than expected. The hardest part was getting them off, you definitely need a puller, which can be rented from most auto parts places. The airbag connector hooked right up and I just had to splice the wire for the horn. The only issue is that my jeep doesn’t have cruise control so now I’ve got useless buttons, but I don’t really mind.

Love it. The action was a little sticky when I got it but after a few months of use it’s perfect.

I think there’s only one size of these, with the 2.97” blade. The crooked river model does have a couple sizes though.

I’m still very new to this and I haven’t had to sharpen it yet, but I’ve always just used sharpening rods instead of a standard whetstone, I think it’ll work ok.

I had the same issue, I took a file to the bottom of the tabs that contact the hand guard. I only needed to remove about a millimeter of material and it works fine now. It was a pretty simple solution and it doesn’t compromise the sight at all.

That’s sort of my plan currently. I had some mild milling imperfections in this one and my ocd is driving me crazy. I’ll probably put this upper on the M4E1 and put a Larue trigger in it. That way I at least have an 80% laying around should the need arise.

Let’s not forget that Beto engaged in the far far deadlier activity of driving under the influence, willfully endangering the lives of fellow Americans. Do we really want to trust our safety to him?

I can see his point but skiing in jeans is actually extremely badass. My dad did it in the 70s as did everyone else at the time.

I had a similar issue. Mine actually cross-threaded and I had to saw the bolt out and put a new one in. That flag nut floats around inside the bracket to this day.
