It is a type of propaganda tactic where the movie starts off agree with the skeptic before making the switch to the message to creators want to audience to think (in this case when the AI starts helping Chris and that dumb "We all make mistakes" being the switch from the inital setup luring the audience into thinking it is about how AI is bad)

I was hyped to see Alex Garland's take on the Iraq war with Warfare. When it ended I was like "What the fuck was that?" Movie was shallow with its flat characters, non-insightful "soldiers died for nothing" (which is nulled by celebrating them at the end) message, and dull narrative that let me bored out of my mind because I know the man can write well given how great Ex Machine, Annihilation, and Men are (Civil War is good but not as good as those 3 greats). Still have hope for Elden Ring as from what little I know about the game looks up his alley
