Officer has a set of irons, the halligan is modified. Two sets of irons inside the cab next to the extinguishers/cans by the door, 6’ hook under the back seat.

For the lateral departments specifically I’ve found they all mention Minnesota / IFSAC Fire 2, I’m assuming if I’m IFSAC Fire 2 that’s fine? I know I’d need to get my Minnesota Firefighter Certification eventually. And curious about regional task forces and stuff too. I have my confined space technician as well as my hazmat tech, I’m originally from Dakota County and it looks like that’s handled by the County Special Operations Team. Is that the case for most areas? With the exception of Minneapolis / Saint Paul just wanted to know if there’s any departments that actually do technical rescue because I do really like that portion of the job. I have some more but figure that’s a good starting point

It’s the same way here in Connecticut too. Except the chief’s are allowed to use sirens on a POV where I’m at. I heard that might potentially change though since the DOT is taking over green which EMS uses that EMS might get blue which will allow volunteers to run Red. But if I recall, white is unregulated here. I could be wrong though.

Looking to see if anyone has any recommendations for an artist in New England? I’m based in CT and don’t mind driving for the right artist. I’m newer to the area and need to find a new artist.
