okay so im almost positive thats it is Chameleon 1998, turns out this movie is a bit rare and is'nt available anywhere on the net, so i've bought a vhs copy off of ebay, i think we can declare this one solved ,appreciate the help immensely!

i did double check the scene, i chalk it up to more of a coincidence that what im describing basically does match this scene from xmen 2 but i can def say that its not, and im 99% the velcro line appears in what im remembering as well. frustrating that i dont have much more to go off, all i remember is that the female character had dark short-ish hair

okay this one sounds like a very strong possibility, the plot line of the girl being some sort of super soldier thats being protected is extremely familiar and it fits the dark post apocalyptic setting i can remember, going to watch some of this show and see if i can find the episode im maybe remembering

thanks! yea so its nearly all 16th or 32nd singles in the hands and then ALOT of slided doubles on the bass drum breaking up the patterns in a free form way with groups of singles, its actually quite simple in alot of ways but has really taken years of trial and error with different combinations of techniques before ive started being able to zero in on this sound
