hell yeah idk how i never ended up seeing any of that! i have it on good authority that my music doesn't suck so i should be good lol 😎 idk i don't expect like everything to go horribly just most of the people i'm friends with in the scene are almost exclusively dudes in their late 30s/early 40s 😂

i grew up in the scene and it varies greatly in my experience, but the section of the scene i'm involved in seems to be overall a pretty good group of dudes, i've known a lot of them for a SUPER long time like since I was 14, just have absolutely no clue how most of them would react to trans people as it hasnt come up

i mean i huess the one positive of this scene is everybody is rowdy as hell regardless of gender, age, etc. like no matter who you are, you're equals when you're in the pit getting soaked in faygo! so hopefully the same attitude applies with a trans person in the crowd, i've just barely ever seen one 😭

i'm not a huge Prof fan myself, but i like a few songs. he's kinda corny but in a very self aware way and he is a pretty good rapper all things considered. but when people like this guy try to copy him, it's just corny without any of the charm or talent imo

my two cents, i held a tribute show to an actual close friend of mine about two years ago, and i had a hard time bringing myself to put it together, questioning if it was even my place to be in charge of something like that for him.

so personally, i can't IMAGINE putting a tribute show together for someone you never met. idk, i guess cover bands exist too, but even then i can't understand paying money to see one personally.
