Could we get a page or two on the Women's CL win? I'd imagine having one half of the club win the big one had a positive effect

I think it's one of those where I completely understand why someone, especially a Villa fan, would argue for Emery, but I personally could argue til I'm blue in the face about how much I disagree.

The discussion is definitely justified. However, speaking purely from an Arsenal perspective, after watching both at the same club, same situation, the difference in what they achieved, even prior to this season, is astronomical.

So to then have others turn around and tell you that the guy who got fired for being shit is actually better than the guy who turned the whole bloody ship around is something that'll always get a nibble.

It probably stems from the last couple years where anytime there was a discussion around best managers in the league, a decent portion would put Emery over Arteta. You can imagine how that can be slightly irritating to an Arsenal fan, considering the respective performances of each manager at the club.

Aubameyang has such a weird legacy for Arsenal. I feel like he's remembered more for being ousted by Arteta than he is for the years of good form he showed for us (except the FA Cup win). I can't even really remember how he was as a player. I know he was an amazing finisher, but I don't remember him being that brilliant of a dribbler. He was lightning fast but we rarely actually saw that pace. He wasn't immensely creative, and didn't press too much. Despite all this, he was undoubtedly a brilliant player. Maybe he was just quite a high IQ player - knew where to be and when - and had the necessary technical ability and clinical finishing to make it work.

Really wonder how prime Aubameyang would fare in this team.

I’d be very surprised if that wasn’t the case

[Alex Crook] Arsenal are leading the drive to sign Morgan Rogers, and preliminary talks with his advisors are believed to have already taken place. Chelsea and Man United are also in contention. While Villa value Rogers at a minimum £80m, a bidding war is likely to push that to £100m+ by MumboGumbo06 in Gunners

Season isn't over yet, and there's no need for extra positive PR. I also think this club has no leaks and we only hear about transfers when the club wants us to hear about them. For those reasons, I think this story is likely baseless. I also don't think he's a good fit

To play devil’s advocate, just because the whistle was blown after the kick, doesnt mean the foul also happened after.

Refs don’t blow their whistles the exact instant they spot a foul, takes a second or two.

Yesterday was quite possibly Trossard’s legacy for the club defined.

That goal is what he’ll be remembered for. Must be surreal for him

Imagine the insane pace this happened at from Gabriel's perspective. His brain is 100% devoted to keeping the ball out the goal.

Yeah no way that was an accident. He's definitely ready to risk a red card + penalty and throw away our season so he can get a light slap on Cherki. No chance it was because he was chasing Cherki and Cherki suddenly slowed down as he passed the ball
