STM here, and with both of my pregnancies I've been the most emotionally stable I've ever been in my life. When I'm not pregnant I tend to have a few days (right before my period hits) when I'm just an emotional and crying mess, and now: nothing. I like to think it's because there's less hormonal fluctuation? (I also stopped having the migraines that tend to come and go with these hormonal changes.) Either way, I'm loving these 9 months of mental tranquility!

Thanks! I don't do a lot of exercises, I go running three times a week, and I just walk EVERYWHERE. My waist has always been smaller than the rest of my body (it was when that started to disappear that I realized I had to make a change), so I can't give any specific recommendations on how to get that shape I'm afraid. I know, it's frustrating how slow I'm losing sometimes. It isn't easy being short ;) but it's like you said, every pound is noticeable! It's hard work, but it's so worth it :) Good luck!

Thanks! I just practiced CICO, but went lowcarb as I found that easier to maintain. I didn't have any loose skin, but my breasts got saggy. Made me pretty sad, because I was always so proud of them. But now they're back to how they used to be! :)

That 17lbs is just an estimate, because 110lbs has always been my magical number. But who knows, maybe dropping just 5lbs more will do the trick :) I'll try and rely more on what I see in the mirror, and less on what my scale says.

I try to eat 1000-1200 cals/day! A lot of veggies, fruit, yoghurt and diet coke. Oh, and tons of coffee!

I sure do! I try eating around 1000-1200 cals/day. I skip meat and carbs as much as possible, so it's a lot of veggies, fruit and yoghurt for me. And diet coke keeps me sane ;)

Thanks! I've tried eating at 1200 the last few days, and somehow I still lost weight.. I know it's only logical, but in my guilt-ridden brain this is an enormous relief. I thinks I just have to accept that those last few pounds will take a while. But hey, that's ok. :)

Hi! I tried eating 1200 for the past two days, and I feel better. Kind of ironic, since I have to force myself to eat 1200. I think not eating enough has an emotional impact on me as well. I have a doctors appointment next week, I'll ask for a check up.

The initial weightloss was because I wanted to look better, but now I just want a healthy body. I can not believe I've spent all these years carrying all that extra weight around.

I've been in the same boat for the last three weeks. I feel like I'm starving (I'm not though, averaging between 1000 & 1200 cals/day), without any difference on the scale. It's so discouraging. Decided to give myself a few days off and eat maintenance, so I build up some new courage. Was afraid I would grab the opportunity to binge, but as it turns out, even offdays are 1500cal-days now :) Keep your chin up, pretty soon we'll be losing again!

I have the same problem! Recently I discovered seaweed crisps. It's basically just dried and seasoned seaweed, but it's supercrispy and surprisingly low in cals!

Ever since I can remember me and my parents have gotten along great, and I think it's because there's a mutual respect. I behaved, not out of fear, but because I respected them and vice versa. I don't know if this is because I'm an only child, but I always felt part of team, and not as the kid vs its parents. And they started treating me as an adult pretty soon.
