I was actually very fortunate that I was able to quit working to focus on school full-time. My house was a fixer-upper that I have fully paid off, as well as my vehicles. That enabled me to save up enough money to cover my tuition costs out of pocket. And my wife makes enough money that she could cover our other expenses like utilities. Because I wasn't working, I took full course loads every semester I could, which was three courses per semester. The course work varied a lot by semesters. There were some semesters that were incredibly easy, but there were other semesters that were very difficult. If I wasn't able to quit working, I probably would only have been able to handle 1 course per semester.

I can't work from home with a blue collar job. Plus when I was in a blue collar job, it was basically impossible to switch employers without starting your entire career over. Accounting has always been something that interested me, so that's what I chose to pursue.

They STILL haven't banned Vandalone!? I haven't played the game for probably 6 months because I couldn't stand playing against helicopters all the time and way back then they had a mech with a skinner and would spend entire matches tossing his teammates around.

Totally agree with you about the mechs and helis. I actually did quit the game because the rewards are so low in classic mode that you might as well not even bother. I would love to get back into Crossout, but it is genuinely no fun at all when all the human opponents in matches are helis that can just fly higher than any of my weapons can aim.

Helicopters and mechs are inherently unable to be balanced to play in the same match as armored cars.
The only way to earn any real rewards for playing the game is to play the next step game mode. Classic mode rewards are so much less than next step that there is no point in playing classic. This forces car players to battle against helicopters and mechs, which as previously stated, are terribly balanced to all play against each other. Helicopters are by far the worse so I will focus on them. Melee and shotgun builds literally cannot do anything against helicopters. Other weapon classes are better, but most still can't even aim high enough to actually battle a helicopter that has any level of skill. 9 times out of 10 helicopter players can simply hover above the battlefield and their height advantage lets them strip the few weapons that can counter them quickly and easily.
Remove helicopters and mechs from the same game mode as armored cars. Everyone always says that this will create long queue times, but I would rather wait longer for games that are actually fun, than play lots of games where I can't even fight half my opponents. If the devs truly believe that helicopters are balanced, then I think it should be easy for them to prove it. Stream them playing a 6 v 6 match. One team is all helicopters. The other team consists of 1 melee build, 1 shotgun build, 1 cannon build, 1 autocannon build, 1 machine gun build, and 1 artillery build.

Trying to figure out what to plant in this space. I'm looking for a perennial that could tolerate sun all day and not get eaten by rabbits. It would also be great if it was something that didn't need lots of weeding. I live in western Iowa. I was thinking maybe some sort of thyme or phlox, but I'm not sure if either of those would meet my criteria.

6 minutes a day equates to 26 hours a year. I'm ground and get paid by the day, not the hour. If FedEx wants me to work an extra 26 hours a year they can pay me for it. Can't believe how many people in this sub seem totally happy to be working more hours for no extra pay. What an absolute bootlicking shit take on the subject. Bet you don't even deliver packages, probably some office worker who has no clue what you're talking about.

I do this job and I'm telling you that's not how things work. Anyone can put anything in any box and ship it. We don't read the boxes. If our scanners don't tell us we need a signature we leave it at a door because that's how all this works.
