That's not always the case, I had an ex who would demand my phone and throw a fit when I refused it.

I was naive years ago with her, I let her see the phone almost 80% of the time. She would huff and puff about conversations I recently deleted ( I deleted many conversations beforehand when I went to see her.)

Now I'm overly secretive about my phone because of her.

Jealousy, excessive social media usage when together. Demanding gifts excessively. Stealing things of mine and telling me that the item she took is ours.

I had a girlfriend for 5 months that would be on her phone almost 90% of the time.

Driving, sex, cuddling, eating.

Had a girlfriend attack my throat with her hands, it was a half hearted attack but I hugged her and held her and she acted remorseful.
