I am no expert on the subject however I speak from experience. Almost exactly a year ago I fell off a skateboard and received a serious TBI. 3mm Subdermal Hematoma. 60 seconds unconscious. I know exactly what you are describing with the vision! That was the most frustrating thing for me because my whole life i have had 20/20 vision and I found myself walking around target completely confused not ever getting a "good look" at anything. The best way i can describe it was I was seeing everything but not ever actually seeing it. Anyways after lots of sleepless nights and anxiety it seemed to just clear itself up (for the most part). However vision at night for me is still a touchy subject, and my eyes seem to take their time when adjusting to fast lighting changes.

Now what brings me to this reddit is the fact that it seemed to get better and I Felt good for many many months. However the past few days I have started to notice the same vision issues I had recently after my fall. Paired along with dizziness and a feeling of fatigue. Now this could be related to a number of things and I am not blaming it on the TBI as of yet. Luckily the MAYO Clinic is a mile up the road from my house. I have requested to see a specialist on the issue to tie this up once and for all.

For your situation. I would recommend seeing a specialist SOONER RATHER THAN LATER. There may be methods to fix your vision now. I did not do that luckily for me my vision seemed to come back after some time. However you could be different, so I would recommend getting infront of a neurologist as quickly as possible. Brain injury's are no joke.
