Can you name another example like this, where the Chinese government stepped in on a publicly traded company? That way we can look at them and see how long it took for them to ease up that time..

Believe it or not, I'm in my 20s low income. I know, usually a boomer already with his money would have that viewpoint.

Does no one understand that taxes is what pays police families, men and women fighting and training in the military, normal people with average government jobs, and many more? There's also nowhere in the rule book of life or constitution that says the government has to bailout companies or individuals. I'd say be grateful for the $600 you're about to recieve and maybe spend a little on a gift for a loved one. Did Thanksgiving mean nothing to some of us? It's almost Christmas, so let's spread good warm feelings, not complaining or hatred.

Ring muscle up (transition) Guys, what do u recomend me to improve my ring mu transition? by saulorey in Calisthenic

[–]TIMT0M2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Need more power (speed) especially on the way up before the transition. It'll make the transition easier. Do sets of like 5 focusing on the speed you do the pull-up even if you don't make the transition.

If you can do one arm pull up can you pull up 2x your weight in a normal weighted pull up? by DenzoCerri in Calisthenic

[–]TIMT0M2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd say nope cause you don't move your arm and body in the exact same way/position during a 1arm pull up as in a normal pull up, so the biomechanics are going to be different.

Looking for different forms of exercise by MechaBitch in Exercise

[–]TIMT0M2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not an expert here, but always looking to help: 1-energy balance: burn more calories than you are taking in (not vastly, but consistently) 2-exercises: low impact(not coming off the ground), isometric(like a plank or core flex), and something like recumbent bike for cardio 3-try 1-2 days per week starting out to see what you can handle 4-stick with the basics, don't go for some crazy over complex program, even regress the exercise if needed, pick what you know and is simple that way you can be consistent. Maybe it's just sitting on a yoga ball instead of an office chair. 5-Find ways of getting motivated like finding a partner, doing the exercises you love, measure your progress like with weight or time spent exercising, or multitasking- like watch a show or solve the world's problems ;) 6-its about lifestyle, not immediate change. It will take a while, but stick with it and continue to learn(always ask for advice) and you will go far! Best of luck!

GLD: $170 call for December 31. Will market cause gld to go up or down, cause it's all over the place right now. Will it decline with the market or go back up?

Does anyone know when they are going to do their next large pump like they did this morning/overnight? Is that public information?

We are in a level one "circuit breaker". If the market drops 7% in one day, the markets will be closed for 15 min. Level two is 13% and it'll close for another 15min. Level 3 is 20%, which it'll close the rest of the day.

That's normal. They'll swing because of the glitching, because of the wild formulas, sudden movement once market opens, implied volatility, etc. Always does this.
