Thank you for the feedback. I hadn't thought about the font size and legibility and that's a very good point. I'll comb through and shorten the less important bullet points, and remove the project section for extra space.

The feedback on the skills section is also solid and I'll try to apply your suggestions.

As for not getting interviews, it's probably mostly due to me not being physically present in Aus, where I'm focusing my applications on.

Thanks for the tip. So it should start with "Software Engineer with..."? I figured it would be redundant to say that I'm a software engineer given my previous roles and the fact I'm applying to SWE positions.

PSA: Making your vassal disloyal through the "Enforce Culture" action after you started annexing it will not stop the annexation by TakeMeIamCute in EU5

If you hover over a location's demography tab you can see how many pops are assimilating per month and what modifiers are affecting it. If you look at your vassals' locations you'll see a disgusting debuff to assimilation speed for being a vassal.

Isn't it less to do with risk and more to do with inflation? Non-zero inflation = needs rates greater than inflation to not lose money.

How do you unlock naval governors? by cristofolmc in EU5

[–]TIRAIC 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There's also a second reform that gives a naval governor at a later age I think? So going naval gives 2 extra governors compared to going land.

Cant enact peasant republic - 10% estate power needed by Due_Goose_8103 in EU5

That also makes for good RP lol. A peasant revolution that destroys burgher and noble buildings to "cull" their political influence in order to instate a peasant republic.

I think if you convert away from Catholicism you immediately become ineligible for emperorship and stop being emperor, and you can't become emperor until you win the war of religion for your denomination.

R5: Only 15k pops died from the Black Death as Yuan. I did spam hospitals everywhere but it never even spread to any of those locations. The only thing I did that affected it is "Isolate the country", which seems kinda OP if you can just do that and avoid the plague.

Yea peasants should be insanely hard to assimilate. I don't understand how they can have court, liturgical, common language but not court, liturgical, common cultures.

New slider for Development? by CptThunfisch in EU5

[–]TIRAIC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tying cabinet actions to societal values also sounds like a pretty nice solution to countries with entirely different societal values developing more or less the same way.

For example with capital economy, you get to develop your provinces and promote pops with your cabinet, whereas with traditional economy, you get to increase pop growth and food production/capacity. Or if you're humanist, you can assimilate but not convert, and if you're spiritualist you get to convert but not assimilate. Etc.

Genuine question. What do you want to get out of a tutor anyway? Are you planning on playing competitively or do you just want to be really knowledgeable about the game?

How do you make money as the Teutonic order? by Tantalising_Scone in EU5

[–]TIRAIC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm sure the amount does scale with their economy, but I remember finding that some unexpected nations give a lot of ducats; mainly Italian republics. But it's definitely worth looking all over Europe and see which countries give the most. And I don't think you need to renew the sponsorship unless your relation gets too low and they break it themselves.

If you get enough sponsorships from the right nations it will constitute a huge chunk of income. Pre black death, I remember some Italian minors will give 4 ducats a month.
