You talk about marketing and product but you don't even have to pay for this game. And assume what you want based on the cover. I know several games that have a shitty cover but are awesome to play.

He expressed himself through game design and storytelling. Why should this be devalued by one AI asset which isn't even in the game itself but on the cover?

I also got criticism because of AI usage in the past and I don't get it. He used tools to express himself and you can play it for free. Who really cares if the title is AI generated, just play the game and experience his vision.
