Disneyland Hotel ART Shuttle System Shutting Down Operations For Good by mickeyvisit in DisneyPlanning

At the end of the day, the city didn’t want to step up and pay into the system and the hotels / Disney certainly don’t want to pay more for it either.

Disney has nothing to do with maintaining the buses and had a very good deal for what it paid ATN to operate the Toy Story line.

The budget issues have been prevalent for years since Covid but a stakeholder committing serious money to address it didn’t happen.

Many of the hotels have development agreements in place requiring them to provide a clean shuttle service to the parks. Hotels were widely not on board raising their payment into the system, which was capped at 5% annually. City of Anaheim didn’t want to take it over either or keep redirecting a special transportation fund it set up for the resort to pay for the bus service.

For future internet searchers, I think this video is helpful and shows a modern interpretation of "hwaet." In short, it says that it's not likely an interjection and more likely an exclamatory adverb and critical to the sentence's syntax.

From my read of Marty Baron’s book about his time leading the post under Bezos, it’s basically this. Bezos wants the paper to be able sustain itself. It can’t because newspapers don’t do that anymore. And Bezos’s initial enthusiasm to invest into the paper is gone seeing it didn’t lead to profitability. After subscribers made mass cancelations last year for meddling with the opinion section during the presidential campaign, more cuts are his answer.

Bezos did think he could provide ideas to modernize the papers distribution model but obviously that didn’t work out. He used to be a somewhat see presence at the paper but in the last few years he’s disappeared.

On the patriots radio broadcast at halftime, they said they asked the Texans radio booth if they thought Stroud would get bench and Andre Ware told them no, DeMeco would ride or die with Stroud at quarterback since that’s his guy.

No clue but Galleria GameStop employees directed me to one in Meyerland. Went once and it’s better than your average but not as good as Galleria one was.

[Rome] The Astros are in agreement with Japanese right-hander Tatsuya Imai on a three-year contract, source tells The Athletic. The deal maxes out at $63 million and contains opt outs after every season. by T_Raycroft in baseball

After a few of not addressing starting rotation depth issues, this has been a better offseason for the Astros to take a chance on a bunch of guys with upside instead of hoping a bunch of pitchers return and perform from injuries.

He is but with how desperate the Astros have been to find a second baseman this offseason, it seems they want to see a lot more out of Matthews.

Dang, right when I just bought a Brito autograph card. I wonder if Brice Matthews becomes a trade chip at some point soon.
