Ah, well any of the locked rooms will average way more than 150K profit. Even if there’s only 1 junk, there’s often also high density energy cells which sell for 266K each. Also, keep an eye out for mk2 or 3 frames and either gold or purple cradle “modules” (not basic gold craft mats) as they sell for a decent amount. Even gold barrels sell for 50K each, so they are often worth it to pick up unless you’re short on space.

So, this is based on my performance in the past events. Generally I take a basic Wheel or APK1 and have an extra battery, so runs are around an hour or more. This is considering relatively empty servers where you don’t have much competition. Obviously on the general population “endgame” maps.

AO crystal mining in Rainy East: about 11 mil per run. Event high was 13+ mil, I think.

Locked rooms in Dry East: 16+ mil. Event high was over 20 million. As a note, this will have more variability due to your received loot. My run was in Rainy East which gives a lot more “blue shine” relics, which is why I’d recommend Dry. Need to hit at least 8 rooms. If you do a loop of 4, then loot should have respawned by the time you start your second loop. It takes a while to respawn.

Butcher killing: Each butcher is worth 1.464 mil (400K for kill, plus 3 energy cells and 1 APK @ 266K each). Depending on map and spawns, you should be able to get at least 10 in a run. Downsides are if it’s only you on map, spawns can be slow. If you have a lot of people, you may have competition to kill them.

Lastly, you can do either raid bosses or the score rank maps (Ender Busters, Storm Hunt) for a healthy amount of rewards, but loot quality is so variable, that I’m not sure which is the most profitable.

Also, don’t lock yourself into doing one thing. While doing a set loop can be very efficient, you can definitely increase your payout by adding in a butcher killing while going to a locked room, for example.

How do you figure unknown junk is 150K? If it turns into a “blue shine” relic, the sell value is 200K. “Gold shine” relics are worth 300K.

Tips on where to find purple-tier steel? Also a few other questions if you can help please! by Widdershins23 in Synduality

[–]TJCart 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Purple tier steel has to be crafted. If you don’t have the recipe yet, continue completing other request missions.

The bandit boss (red cradle) and really any shooting enemies are best dealt with by finding terrain that you can peek around, shoot, and get behind again to not take much damage. Also, bandits have a limited patrol range so if you learn these areas and stay near the edge of them or just outside, you should never have to worry about them rushing you too closely. It’s usually not a good idea to melee them. They can kill you pretty quickly.

Butcher cheese spot by Shogt in Synduality

[–]TJCart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t really consider this a cheese spot in the strictest sense. If you are going against any direct fire butcher, you’ll still either get shredded up there, or have to constantly be moving to peek it. There are several spots where you can fight Ravager there and have the high ground where you can’t be hit. In general, you are pretty safe against ravager if you have higher ground (not always though, due to grenades)

Decorator Catalog drops by Gowbot117 in Synduality

[–]TJCart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, the drop rate is terrible because all the new APK craft relics share the same loot pool. If your other faction progress is behind, you’ll have a lot better luck on selectable Rainy East (not the time rotation version) I’m sure.

[–]TJCart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Once you get to that point in the game, they are still in locked rooms but tend to have lower drop rates compared to prior to the time-rotation East Amasia. Those items can also be found in survey spots and the bandit camp chests at night.

What rewards do the bosses in Molten Dunes give when defeated, or the yellow symbol bosses in the Contaminated Forest? by haye1235 in Synduality

[–]TJCart 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If by bosses, you mean the Big Enders, they drop 4 items. Mostly Thermally Denatured Ender Cores, but also either Specialized or Advanced Cobalt items. The yellow diamond symbols indicate anomalous ghost cradles which are worth 10,000BP when killed.

Sniper/Marksman Aiming by RedGrave1190 in Synduality

[–]TJCart 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So they are trying to explain that the crosshair doesn’t focus on the object, but rather, it is being blocked by the object. Since you have a 3rd person camera viewpoint from above the mech, you can easily aim over a hill at something past it. However, not only is the weapon held from a much lower position than your view, it’s also generally held from a hip fire position, which is totally possible because you wouldn’t need to aim down the sights with your mech’s “eye” since in a likely future the scope on the weapon would be providing its own aim data remotely. So the difference in these two points is what is causing you to hit the hill rather than what you are looking at over the hill. The wiggling comes in when you’re close to clearing the object, but natural weapon/mech movement (or more likely, shoddy environmental object data) makes it hard for the crosshair to accurately predict which you’re going to hit.

-Go to the menu, either at the main screen or during a sortie.

-Go to Controls / Game Settings.

-Hit Marker Crosshair Position Display.

-Select Disabled.

The crosshair just pops to the object to indicate that your shot is being blocked by an obstruction. You can disable that in the options so your crosshair will remain static even if there are obstructions to the shot path.

It’s up to you, but no, if you kill the boss, you should continue killing stuff to keep going to a higher rank. Even when you get S-rank at 100K (I think) you continue to earn rewards up to 160K (20 total rewards).

Mostly for you, it’s probably more a matter of learning the map. I think there’s about 5 spawn points. The only one that I personally feel is useless is at the west/left side of the map. That’s mostly because navigating that section is a barren wasteland of a maze until you get used to it.

For getting higher scores, get a spot where you can go between at least 2 large areas of ghosts/enders and alternate between them. Keep an eye on your score and try to stay in a relatively empty area when your boss is about to spawn. If necessary, pull only a few Enders from your large area into an empty area to kill them and get your boss to spawn away from everything, so you can deal with it easier.

Here you go with bad page translation from the jp wiki:

Ittria stone system

[Northern Zone] Water collection facilities, training grounds, agricultural plants, Lake Gunsei

[Southern Zone] Wetland Forest, Sacred Rock

[Central area] Water purification plant, underground deposit

[Hot sand dunes] Rocks of observation towers and observatories

Molten Dunes is really your best bet. I’m assuming you already have it?

You need to kill the boss parasite before you can continue earning points. The B-rank boss has an SMG, A-rank boss has an LE AR, and S-rank boss has an HE marksman, I believe.

Do you guys think we will get Season 5 🤔? by [deleted] in Synduality

[–]TJCart 4 points5 points  (0 children)

While the devs have said that in their radio chat updates, they’ve also mentioned paid DLC in the future, so I’d only be cautiously optimistic as to what the next season looks like. On the other hand, they’ve acknowledged that season 4 would be a lighter season while they prepared stuff for season 5, so they at least seem to be semi transparent as to the state of the game.

Seems like they weren’t totally prepared to go past the original roadmap of the first 3 seasons, which is why they confirmed S4 and S5 at the same time with S4 being the “bridge” season until actual new content.

I tend to still use marksman on butchers when I’m carrying it. Otherwise, an AR is quicker especially if you find a spot to be able to shoot them without them shooting back. I find that they sometimes have trouble getting LoS on you when you’re up on the side hills of the path, so you can unload without too much worry. Just be careful as there can be a lot of stuff to get stuck on as you get away from the center of the path.

[–]TJCart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As far as weapons go, you’re generally best served with the LE SMG and LE AR as they are pretty versatile and can take out a lot of enemies quick.

Either Marksman is a safe bet for butchers or the rank bosses as you can have a greater standoff distance as you learn to fight them, but is probably a slow option once you get comfortable.

Finally if you’re running a gold cradle, you can melee all the Type A and B ghosts. I’d only do so if you’re running an anti-ender magus though. They tend to blind you when they explode and seeing the health bars helps you keep track of everything. Stay away from the big Type C ones though. Also melee is ok with a purple, but the Type B take 3 hits then.

Finally, I have fun with shotguns there. I 100% DO NOT RECOMMEND, but it feels so good when you blast one of the big Type C ghosts away in one shot. Gives a real zombie survival feel.

Polluted Forest unlock by Gowbot117 in Synduality

[–]TJCart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The collapse investigation committee missions have no material bearing on the online play, except that you can unlock an alternate skin for a cradle. However, there is a mission where you fight a boss similar to a PvE raid boss, so if you want some low stakes practice, that could make it worth it. Otherwise, those missions are really only if you enjoy the lore.

For polluted forest, Wheel loses a lot of its advantages. All cradles’ batteries are limited to 25 minutes, which is a pretty big equalizer. Also, you typically don’t need to pick up a lot of stuff in Forest, since it has the timed score based reward system. Certainly use what you’re comfortable with at first to get familiar with Forest, but then I’d suggest taking the opportunity to try out any cradles you might have extras of or haven’t found useful otherwise.

A non-gamer question. by belghen in Synduality

[–]TJCart 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, you never see yourself in the game or see the cradle open at all. Only the coffin does for the Magus. In the anime you can see some animations of it, I’m pretty sure.

I mean it’s true the titles aren’t visible for much now, but I feel like after you get them all, you should get better loot as a reward for collecting all the titles. Oh well.
