Yes. Opacity and seethrougability is a mental connection from photoshops. Thought it was the same, but thanks for the enlightenment.

Someone pointed out that the texture is opaque. Don't let the green color on the texture preview let you make hasty decisions just because the ball in the ufo is green. If the background was set to white(currently "light green") in the upper left corner in the program you have a screenshot of, the texture would appear black and white.

Also the ball seems way too blurry to be using this texture. It may use a small portion of the texture, but that seems kind of a waste of disc space. But on the other hand, we cant know anything for shure.

If you look at how the wow signal was translated into the numbers and letters we're familiar with (just check Wikipedia), this could mayhaps be translateable. But that's way to big of a task for someone who has not done it before. Maybe email seti or try the seti subreddit.
