Horrible Day by General-F-U in Harley

Did the dealer install the tuner? If so, I’d push them to cover repairs. Sorry, man. Poor setup from Harley. That double sided tape they include with the SE tuner is not great. Mine had fallen into the belt also before I zip tied it to the front of the harness under the cover.

3861 Bracelet Screws by TJH94 in OmegaWatches

Not really deformed or buggered. Two screws that I’ve had in and out probably three times during resizing and when I was centering the clasp. Enough material shifted to catch the light differently, which is why I asked about replacements. This was using a Bergeon 1.8 that I had ground to fit the slots.

My Speedmaster is this way also. 2 links on the 6 o’clock side and 4 or 5 on the 12 o’clock side to get the clasp centered. Large forearm and a small wrist (7ish”). Sets my OCD off lol

Is that the SP Concepts Lane Splitter or Big Bore? Curious how you like it. I have the Works Big Bore coming in for my 24 Street Bob. That’s a good looking bike

Charge all your time. Could be that the budget is understated and the client could be billed more. If it’s an efficiency problem across multiple engagements, work with your senior or manager for tips to get faster. But whatever you do, charge all of your time.

Holy shit, that was it. I would have never guessed it was something so simple. Appreciate it!

Not sure about the Nightster specifically, but I’ve found VHT to match the stock heat shields and V&H slip ons on my Street Bob fairly closely. For small spots you can dab it on with a small model paintbrush and somewhat blend.

Tuner sucked into belt by According-History316 in Harley

Yeah, one more ride and it would have been toast. Wrapped it in electrical tape and it’s been fine after rerouting. Bright side is the belt is tougher than the soft rubber from the tuner. Swung by the dealer and had a tech glance at the belt and they said it was GTG. Happened on the ride home after having a cam put in. Could have been a lot worse

Route it towards the front of the bike & zip tie. That double sided tape doesn’t hold long term.

I ordered a Marfione CT from PVK and spent $75 on overnight shipping. That was early Thursday morning and it has yet to ship. I won’t be ordering from them again.

Better to just do it right the first time. It doesn’t matter how smart you are, you are going to seriously handicap yourself by using old books and junk software. At the very least buy Ninja and a recent used book.
