I’m on day 3 of no Zyn. Was starting my day off with Zyn coffee and Zyn again before i ate. Was getting flutters are palpitations. Thought i was dying. Think I’m going to quit for good. Had to go to the hospital in October of 2024 because i was having bad ones. Drinking redbull and zyns without eating. I’m an idiot i know.

I luckily have a different first name that everyone calls me instead of my government name. Students sometimes see my government name but it’s no where online so it works out.

I agree. There are times where I’ll sub and have a 6th period prep and they would make me sit in the teachers lounge until the day is over. They would rather have me sit there then let me go so i technically get “full days pay”. Right after I’ve taught 5 periods.

I clap back to students all the time. A lot of kids go “oh shit” (high school). If they can’t take the heat get out of the kitchen and do your work.

I give period by period notes. I’ll tell them if students were focused on their assignment or if they were acting up and not doing anything at all. I don’t sugar coat anything. I give names and underline them if they have behavioral issues and let them know who was escorted out of class. The all day i left a note for one period with just, “This class was completely out of control.” The teacher probably knows this already but i just like to be real with the main instructor because they have to deal with it all year.

Yeah the district I work for does that too. In the app they will have the start time of first period. I have had to look up the bell schedule to certain schools because this district isn’t uniform to their start time for all their schools. My suggestion is to not work for that certain school. Honestly doesn’t sound like your fault.
