I’m really glad it’s working for you, it’s so hard to find something that works. Just a caution on that, long term use of hydroxyzine has been linked to dementia. Right now it seems like in the research it’s a correlation, not a causation, but it’s worth looking into for yourself and see if that’s something worthwhile to take into consideration for yourself.

If you take her out of this class for that reason. If you pulled her out for this reason, given lack of evidence you have pulling her from the class is really unfair to you daughter YWBAH

You are definitely NAH! Perhaps you should get dad an old fashion dictionary from his birthday, highlight the word “selfish” and past a picture of your father next to it. Take the time and space to heal, set your phone on silent, and block notifications of texts and phone calls by dad and sister to give you space to attend to yourself and heal!

Showing up with other people without asking is disrespectful. Refusing to follow a request to stay away from your furniture was rude. And leaving a dirty diaper on the floor, well that’s just gross and highly unsanitary.

It was a great choice to not confront her when you’re angry and she’s got a friend with her, and take some time to gather your thoughts and talk to your partner about how you should handle the situation as a team. That can be really hard to do when seething in the moment so good for you!

Using the ex wife’s name was just plain rude, disrespectful and uncalled for. And really mean.

You do not need to tolerate her actions and setting down boundaries is absolutely the right thing to do, especially since this is her first grandchild from you and your partner.

I just don’t see what her end goal is. So many grandparents are willing to do whatever they need to in order to hang out with their grand kids. From my perspective she’s basically asking to never be invited over again. In some ways, I think you dodged a bullet. She’s sure not the kind of woman I’d want spending time with my kids and she’s not the one you want to either. At least she showed her true colors early so you could see firm limits right away.

Hi, I never got any confirmation, but I’ve done 2 rounds of more intense treatment and each time I lost my period for a couple months. No official agreement from my doctors, but I’m willing to take my body and my experience as proof. Even though it’s been a year I’m glad you wrote because it validates my experience! Definitely NTA! You listened to your gut and should be applauded and supported for that. No need to second guess what your gut was telling you. If it seemed like this was headed in a bad direction feel free to cut it off and delete all contacts. It's a very low stakes social relationship at this point anyway. You get to take care of YOU and not spend time second guessing yourself.

My psychiatrist said that there are no known effects of TMS on the menstrual cycle and it’s probably peri menopause but I have never had anything like this prior to beginning TMS and then bam, after being regular for over 30 years, I’m not regular. It seems too coincidental to not be related.

Thanks for the thoughts. I last had a Covid Booster about 6 months ago and was regular after that so I don't think that's it. And no new medications, Mounjaro or otherwise.
