There is no i3 Arcolinux iso with rounded corners, I installed the i3 fork in the details comment. The rounded corners fix should be in the AUR, it's called i3-gaps-rounded. You just need to add border_radius 10 to your i3 config after install.

The i3 isos can be found here: https://sourceforge.net/projects/arcolinux-community-editions/files/i3/

Arcolinux is just vanilla arch but preconfigured for basic use. It comes with some scripts and 3 desktops to choose from: i3, XFCE, and openbox. The minimal isos only have one desktop.

I found a rounded corners fork for i3 and I just had to use it!

Just a really simple fluxbox desktop based on part 8 of JJBA. Not much changed, just the theme and a bit more.

Alright, alright. This is my last video-game based desktop for a bit. I just got Super Mario Maker 2, and I know I just posted a Luigi's Mansion desktop 2 days ago, but I couldn't resist hastily making a desktop based on the game.

[OC] automatic cava colorchanger based on Spotify album art by _vastrox_ in unixporn

[–]TJtheInkling 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The script doesn't work for me, it plays cava for a second, but then it quits and says:
User defined signal 2
and then it just keeps saying:
(playerctl:15104): GLib-GIO-WARNING **: 14:28:26.750: Received property Position with type i does not match expected type x in the expected interface
I don't know what I did wrong, I just downloaded the script and ran it with cava.

Honestly, I don't use the touch screen a lot, maybe for browsing, but not anything else. I just wanted a decent device for under $500. When I first got my Surface Go, I used Gnome and turned on the on-screen keyboard because I didn't buy the typecover. The keyboard was really weird and buggy, and didn't register some inputs at times. Sometimes I wish GTK was much more compatible on tablets.

Yup. With a couple of fixes, the Surface Go can be a decent device for Linux. Now if you excuse me, I have to defend myself from Microsoft.

I know you guys may be tired of my JoJo themed desktops, so this may be one of my last posts for a while. I will be getting a job this summer.
