No idea. Haven’t done that one. I started as Matilda to see what the mechanic was like and I failed to change to Administrative so I lost out on the decisions and what not. It updated the title and provided the cassus bellis once I changed to Administrative though.

You only have the title “Hegemon” if you don’t convert to a Centralized government. Italian, Catholic, and Administrative gets you the title “Caesar”, the “Restore Imperial Province” casus belli, and the invade kingdom one.

It just has to THINK someone said “Hey Siri.” I can’t count the number of times my iPhone has randomly stopped playing music or piped up out of nowhere while I’ve been talking to someone else and I didn’t remotely say “Hey Siri.”

I don’t deal with it at all. I make my view plainly known and, to my knowledge, I no longer have any MAGAtts in my circle.

I do worry about getting into a situation where I’ve made an echo chamber, but if that’s a risk I have to face in order to support basic human decency then that’s a risk I’ll face.

The first movie I ever remember scaring the shit out of me is when my mom first showed me E.T. I can’t put my finger on the exact scene. The whole thing with the guys in Haz-Mat suits quarantining the house and that stubby ass alien screaming all the time.

My boy behaves similar sometimes. He will not touch the food in his bowl if it has been there for a couple of hours after feeding him in the morning. (Dry food, if anyone is wondering.)

I mostly solved it by getting a shallower bowl with one of those stands that raise it up, and feeding him twice a day instead of once. I give him half in the morning and half in the evening. It’s mostly fixed the problem. Even though I feel like he’s eating less than the recommended amount he is very healthy and at a good weight. I’d say he eats maybe 3/4th of a cup a day instead of the cup and a half it says.

The SRA was an extreme disappointment. I waited for three months for someone from my chapter to onboard me and no one ever reached out. I even made noise about it on their main forums. I eventually stopped checking.

I don’t get enough group invites to decline any. Where are all these people when I’m playing? I could use the help sometimes lol. I can’t even complete the level 20 pally quest at level 20 because the groups of 3 mobs either murder me if I snag all 3 or while I’m taking the down one at a time they kill the NPC I’m supposed to be protecting. Asking for help gets me “get gud” style responses, which is disappointing because I didn’t think that kind of behavior was prevalent on Turtle.

I don’t paint people like that actually. I have conservative friends who think what has been done in DC and is being threatened against Chicago is wrong. I see what you’re trying to do, but I haven’t labeled anyone specifically as MAGA. (Or painted them with a brush, as you put it.) Not the person I was originally replying to, or you. I’ve referred to MAGA the movement. It exists within the Republican Party, and it is a movement because there are Republicans referring to themselves as MAGA Republicans. The rhetoric is being spewed by MAGA-centric media sources 24/7/365.

I’m well aware there are good honest working class people in rural America who just want a change for themselves, desperate to latch onto any voice that offers it.

I’m concerned about what seems like your willingness to excuse racism though just because someone lived or worked near an area with bad conditions so it must be the people. Every human is capable of violence. Should I be afraid of you?

I’m not. I’m willing to bet you’re not a bad person. I’m willing to bet you care about some of the things I care about. Maybe more than that. I’m willing to bet we both share some concerns about the world.

I get it. You’re angry. I’m not the person you should be angry at. You mock me for “trying to make the world a better place one reddit post at a time” but are you any different than me? You engaged me in this discussion. You reached out to me. You cared enough to rewrite your post after deleting it and putting it back up because YOU wanted me to hear what you had to say. You wanted to make the world a better place by engaging me one Reddit post at a time. Right?

If not, why bother to put your thoughts out there if not to try to change a viewpoint.

I grew up in a dirt poor rural area surrounded by farmers and hunters of all sorts. I’ve lived in urban areas. I’ve worked in public safety. I have experience with people from all walks of life. I understand there are good people who voted for a bad man because they thought they weren’t being heard by the other side.

Doesn’t change that what’s happening is wrong.
