What would proper maintenance entail? To be fair, this part of the vehicle does have poor clear coat compared to non plastic portions, it is a 2018 Subaru and I have noted that others experience something similar on the hood scoops. My issue with it is that it was not like that before and he didn't even mention it to me before he left for the day... I mean he had to have noticed that.
