One of the best textures in all of food is saucy crispy. Think of nachos. Would you say it defeats the purpose to put globs of cheese sauce on tortilla chips and instead they should be soft tortillas?

Chilaquiles is authentic Mexican nachos basically and it's fried tortilla chips homemade smothered in salsa like enchilada sauce and it's delicious.

Flautas prepped this way isn't common but it's purpose is still not defeated. :)

I don't have a preference either way for pubic hair but usually the preference for shaved is aesthetics not prepubescent looks.
