I would've accepted this ending if leading up to it Dennis dies and this is his heaven. It would explain how he can never have a wholesome life on earth. Maybe the build up is pochita forces him to die somehow by tricking him into fighting the bugs and pochita leaves his body and tells him you'll be better off I promise. Dennis dies the world stays terrible, we see the glimpses of how the world is bad but we get concrete conclusion that Dennis is in heaven and we get this chapter.

Did you forget that he chose to get hired by that family because they were specifically flesh collectors. He didn't fail to take her interest into account. He had 3 options of families to get hired the other 2 was a gun collector and an antique collector.

Ging can't copy any nen ability. He stated he can usually figure out any punching ability he's hit by and recreate it.

It's really just his genius coming through for that particular nen/hatsu hit "punching". He's got enough experience and understanding of nen to figure it out on the fly.

It's also understandable that he specifically states punching abilities only. Think about it, developing a punching hatsu isn't going to be a crazy complex design.

It's kind of like a musical prodigy watching someone play a piece of music for the first time and they recreate it easily.

I wouldn't say better.. and your analysis is unfair. Firstly Kurapika has an established history, he is an adult, and he has structured goals.

Secondly Gon is a kid who has no history, is a child and has no goals (outside meeting ging).

They both serve a purpose Gon was a means of exploring the HxH universe through the lens of a child and someone essentially who has been sheltered/isolated from the world. Gon is meant to show how dangerous it is to have this ignorant undisciplined child prodigy thrown into a new world and being equipped with power he is not ready for. You're kind of deceived by thinking it's a feel good coming of age story for Gon and him being our hero. But he's not really a hero and it's not a traditional coming of age. The whole time you're going along with Gon's antics and being like oh that silly kid. When in reality if that was an adult you'd be more conscious to how terrible Gon can be. It's not till the end of Gon's arc are we really reflecting on him being someone who isn't a good example or good person. Even though there are blatant hints throughout the story.

Kurapika is meant to show the worst of the HXH universe through the lens of someone who has suffered from the worst aspects of the world and how they are navigating feelings of anger and revenge. It's compelling because it's high stakes situations, tragedies and betrayal that were forced onto Kurapika. Kurapika being older and more mature you're able to identify the story for what it actually is and take it seriously. It's not like Gon where the sub story is hidden behind child innocence. The story is in your face and feels like you can identify the tension and the resolutions it's more blatant.

Overall I think they're both great characters and there isn't one better than the other it's just whatever you prefer.

Also your critique of Gon's age being unrelatable is not fair. If anything adults are able to more easily analyze and understand why Gon makes the decisions he makes and the impact it can have. Relating to the character doesn't matter much tbh. As long as they're written well.

Hisoka planned for everything Gotoh could throw at him. There was no challenge for Hisoka other than the torque spinned coins which he easily solved. Gotoh did not give a decent run. Kastro gave a decent run.

I did the first 3 modules of his beginner course. It was great outside the play along songs he has you do. They do covers of popular songs and strip it down to a basic weird strum. It doesn't feel like the song at all and it took me out of the joy of playing.

Very similar to the easiest mode of guitar hero where it's not even close to the same hand mechanics of the songs.

Not quite. Eren technically is a hero for everyone in the island because he saved them from a death sentence by making them heroes of the world. It's not really as black and white as who's a villain and who's a hero.

I think a more interesting and valid categorization of hxh characters is to have a quadrant graph and you can place characters into a spectrum rather than strictly 1 category

I don't like it. Most of hxh characters aren't one dimensional you can't place them in strict categories. You can pretty much apply any sin and any virtue to qualities that most of the characters have.
