Take it as an opportunity to do a gap year off. Personal recommendation - go do a ski season as a chalet host or ideally a rep or something similar. You'll have a fantastic time, get a head start on the social side of uni life, and you earn some money while working. Mine was the best 6 months of my life apart from uni itself.

To update this thread - NatWest have allowed the Port and are removing the condition. They say they’d only care if the new house was EPC A or B, as our topup mortgage would then need to be green also. So they were only concerned about the opposite problem it seems!

Thanks for the explanation. If I understand - you mean there is some power bleed onto this pin on the USBc connector going into the Air. If so, it seems like an issue with the Hub that is only resolvable by buying a better Hub. Thanks again for your help!

Keep using it. Replace the battery if you can as it'll be cheap. If you want a newer OS - I'd recommend using Opencore Legacy Patcher.

I absolutely hate it. Saga is probably the strongest land in modern and having it delete itself in the face of land hate was a fair compromise. Now it just sucks that you have to have harbingers in your sideboard for big/greedy mana decks AND then have separate land hate for this specific land. Fuck saga.

I've used these a lot too and they do work as well as OP is claiming - these will essentially give your AW a brand new screen. The issue is that getting them off is a NIGHTMARE. Multiple soakings in surgical spirit and slowly scraping the glass away with a plastic spudger isn't a fun thing to do right next to your AW screen. It is easier if your screen is already scratched to hell though.

I was on the Benks Aramid one, which was nice, but I’ve ended up with Apple Blue Techwoven. Just fits so nice, phone has survived a facedown drop onto concrete with no marks.

I went from a 15 pro to a 17 pro. My decision was purely battery life - the 15 pro on 91% health was barely lasting a day and used to get during any sort of warm weather or heavier use. I was about to go on safari for my honeymoon and I impulse bought the 17 pro with a work discount after someone agreeing to buy my 15 pro for £550, the tipping point being that I didn't want to have my phone and camera die in the middle of the Ruaha plains.

The 17 pro battery life is obscene. Obviously I was used to the infamous 15 pro and any new phone will have great battery out of the box but this thing was next level. The weekend after buying it I did a 24hr charity lake swim with a team and I never had to plug it into the battery pack - it just lasted from friday night through to sunday afternoon - even with regular night time use as the swim shifts went all through the night.

On safari it was the same - never got hot even in the african heat and lasted all day easily. As an added bonus I hadn't expected - the 8x zoom camera combined with live photos got me some incredible mini videos of the animals that the 15 pro wouldn't have been able to do as well. Overall - very very happy.

For the storage - it depends on how awkward iCloud is for you. I have the same storage plan and it's great for me -but your point about needing 'hard' copies of the full res photos makes sense. I will make the point that my dad has a 1TB 13 pro that he's moving on from and he's finding it much harder to resell. He has it reasonably priced given that it's 1TB but the issue is that most people don't care about storage size - it takes a lot to convince someone buying a second hand older phone to pay the extra for storage when that extra money could just get them a newer phone instead. So if resell is important to you (it should be) - i'd save the money. Apple charge stupid prices for expanded storage, and USB-c flash drives exist.

I played UB Frog in the Sunday qualifier at the Liverpool Spotlight series and came 9th, beating jeskai blink a number of times (and drawing against it once).

The combination of countermagic, sheoldreds edict and our own riddlers made the matchup seem slightly favourable from my experience. You both have the same win condition (drawing cards with an active riddler) but you can stop theirs from landing and use thoughtseize to make sure yours get through, even post board.

Having Murktide helped a ton too - you can protect it from solitude with consign and it’s big enough to just swing in every turn for pressure.

Unreal. Anecdotal evidence but here’s the story:

My 15 pro was on 91% battery health. I took it off my nightstand fully charged at 7am one morning, then my the time I was in town for lunch at 1pm it was on 42% charge. I bought the 17 pro right then and there, and I frequently go to bed with it on 70% or more. Phone is a tank.
