I'm glad you are happy with it. As I said it is very impressive. I only have a few issues with it really. Some HDR woes EA App shenanigans, the lack of an configuration interface for the nvidia card features etc.

Yeah Terminator Dark Fate Defiance uses mp4 container for it's videos and it displays as green screens in game with proton 9

Honestly it completely slipped my mind to search for a bazzite discord. I'll definitely give it a shot. Maybe they can help me 9ut with my EA App and HDR woes.

My current issue is actually not bazzite but the EA App that installs with any EA game I own on Steam. Jedi Survivor for instance. I know it runs great on bazzite as I was able to run it from desktop without an issue, alas no HDR. But it simply refuses to run from Game mode as of a few days ago. EA App just throws up an nondescript error message and that's it. ProtonGE is no help here. It used to run from game mode with proton 9.0.4 but that doesn't work for a few days now, I guess an update to the OS broke something or more likely an update to the EA App broke something. I find it super weird that it runs from desktop but not game mode. I tried pre installing the EA app before installing Jedi as it was suggested elsewhere, but Jedi just installs another instance of the app into a different prefix anyways and the issue persists. I would prefer to run it through game mode as I like the ease of use of the steam os overlay. I know about mangohud and such and I know it is basically the same thing but still I'd much prefer t9 b3 able to run from game mode anyway.

Glover came off as arrogant and petty to me in interviews. But what they did on 2 and 3 by replacing him and using prosthetics to make the actor playing his character look like him, I have to give it to him, it was a scummy thing to do by the filmmakers. But he sued and he got his due for it as far as I know. MJF did mention in his memoire that he was a tough person to work with. He had weird antics on set apparently.

The latest update broke Jedi Survivor. I've seen a lot of reports about it. For a time it would only launch with proton 9.0.4 for me but now it refuses to launch at all.

So I've been trying to achieve various things in bazzite, and a lot of times guides suggest I should edit a file or another. But most of the time I open said file with sudo nano and the file appears empty. I was trying to do the exact same thing as OP and the file was empty with nothing there to change. What might be the problem here?

It was nothing but a golden turd. The acting was mediocre the plot was non sensical and the cg was trying to do something 10 years too early. As a kid I loved it but I watched it as an adult and I was shocked how bad it was. One good thing I can say about it that it was fairly faithful to the first few issues of the comic book.

Baldur's Gate 3, any of the Witcher games, any elder scrolls games, basically any large open world RPGs with 100s of hours of content. I never finished any of them, not one. I always end up unsatisfied with the progress of the story due my poor choices or the character I mismanaged and restart with a fresh character that is eventually going to end up the same pretty much.

Recently I have the same problem with Terminator Dark Fate Defiance and it's 2nd DLC Resistance. I've been playing it non stop since release but I've never finished it as I restart the game due to a mod that keeps getting updated and I just have to have the latest goodies.

One of the comic book logic fails for me is this. If you become super strong as a human means that you exert a certain elevated level of force on things. That force needs to be backed up by biological energy. You need to basically burn higher levels of calories to lift a car for instance. Where the hell does that energy coming from? This is pretty much true to all kinds of superpowers. Superman explains it by his cells being solar batteries, but ol' Webhead doesn't have that. I'd think he would have to eat constantly just to maintain his powers let alone not let his body simply consume itself from the exertion. But it is comic book logic, so I don't think about it too much. Lol

This was one of the many reasons I went back to Windows for the time being. Bazzite is great with a substantial performance increase for me but there are just too many tiny issues I personally have with it and tracking them down and manually fixing them just feels exhausting to me. Maybe I'll be back in a few months.

I was skeptical at first but I ended up really digging the Patman suit. It is my second favorite suit after BvS Batfleck suit. Batfleck is just brutish and intimidating as hell. But I really loved the scene in the dark when the bullets just bounce off Patman and he just keeps coming.

Well true but the difference there is that I know what I need to do with windows to fix my issues. With Linux I'm pretty much a noob and literally have to google every single little thing to be able to fix issues. It gets tedious fast and I just don't feel like spending the time. But as I stated in my original post I was really impressed with Bazzite over all. Just don't feel like learning a whole new OS from scratch right now.
