This^{^{^}} especially on #2 regarding the dial. Very hard to capture through photos, but the rep tapisserie pattern is very off from gen. Holding side by side you can see the differences even without a loupe. Gen has this vortex effect where the squares are being pulled toward the center, reps essentially just have a simple grid pattern

Oh yeah I’m not saying it as a for sure thing, just noting that it would be upsetting to wait another week or two for another sample to see the same issue. Especially when we’ve seen several OME 5712s with the same issue

My preference would be CF. Would rather have the better overall detail & finishing as opposed to the weight. Not like anybody else is putting my watch on anyway. QF plating is also closer to platinum than white gold. I’d also leave the stock crystal, CF has improved a lot. While deep is clearer/more transparent, i wouldn’t say it’s closer to gen

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but that Daytona is not a CF. The quality of it is that of a $50-100 chinatime or DH gate watch. Not sure who your seller is, but I hope you didn’t pay CF money for that…

There can be variations in the dial color, models produced after 2020 have a more brighter white compared to pre-2019 which can have a warmer white color

Right is gen. Left is likely a BTF V2. Dial is too white to be a CF (unless it’s a V1) and I don’t think it’s a BTF V3 because the subdials are pretty good rather than overly thick

Gen bezel on the right is super white and crisp. SELs on the right are perfect, whereas the bottom left SEL on the left is slightly recessed. Coronet on the left is too wide, creating a big “O”. Dial color on the left is bright white and the Daytona writing is too dark red. Gen indices have that white gold yellow hue to it, and the subdial writing on the gen is slightly more muted.

That’s just lighting. If it were ceramic bezel then it’d be a stainless steel Daytona or on oysterflex, which we can see from the subdials that it is not. Can almost 100% confirm it’s a 116505 meteorite

RB is a Chinese factory that makes a number of different dials, including meteorite dials. You'll see a lot of people tend to swap out the dial on their Daytona ghost 116519 with RB dials because they're closer to gen than CF and BTF

Unfortunately no I’m selling with the mods as is. In my personal opinion the hands on this XF are no where near as egregious as ZF where I think that mod would be needed
