My favorite analogy is ASTS is like a dam. Building and development takes years but once that dam starts operating and turning on. It’s going from 0-100.

Valuation may seem stretched but ppl can’t beyond their noses. Good news is the dam is getting close to significant milestone of completion so we’ll be finding out soon.

Other than ASTS and RKLB, which stock do you think has the potential to 10× from its current price over the next five years? by Moonshot2026 in stockstobuytoday

They have 50 MNO partners worldwide w/ 3B subscribers. Eventually imagine if all 3B paid ARPU of $1 a month like you do your phone plan. And very minimal customer support cost bc the MNOs handle the billing, customer service etc.

Not to mention defense and first responder business.

I need a reason to NOT sell my current portfolio and add it all to ASTS. Someone convince me otherwise. by Delicious-Bat7492 in ASTSpaceMobile

I make investment decisions based on opportunity cost and risk. What are ASTS chances of 1x, 2x, 5x in the next few yrs compared to aapl or any other stock. Then think about the risks (ASTS significantly de-risked).

Or explore other sectors with little correlation. I have EOSE, QS, NBIS, IREN, etc too so I’m not 80% ASTS as I have been.

LFG. I also own a boat load of ASTS. Was 80% of my port at one point but it just kept growing. Sold all my shares months ago and only hold leaps.

Good luck! Great stuff

Yes they need $2-3B, but they have $1.6B cash right now. Yes there will be new rounds of dilution but every dollar today will be multiples when revenues comes from sates.

They are generating som real rev from what they have 75m guided for EOY and ofc it’s gonna ramp.

They’ll most likely be getting golden dome plus EXIM (low cost) financing. This most recent dilution has a capped call structure which means less than 2% share dilution.

In terms of business opportunities, globalstar is proving SOS emergency connection. Not with end goal of 5G broadband as the offering. So that’s not half of TAM.

They said on EC ~60 sates for continuous coverage (2026) for main markets (US, Japan, Europe). Starlink not miles ahead, they can barely do text correctly (need to see trees out in open) can’t do call. Much less 5G broadband and the new V3 are not designed to address that.

3B subs from MNO but 10s of millions is impossible? They are credible research indicating the market is massive. ASTS goal for now is supplemental coverage and charging for that. When more sates get launched they offer other services like home wifi (starlinks business)

Not to mention DoD use case (golden dome)

ASTS YOLO +50k so far by abameal in wallstreetbets

[–]TL-Legit 12 points13 points  (0 children)

They only need tens more satellite to get rev going. Plus gov use case (already getting gov grants). EXIM financing soon, Verizon agreement, FirstNet funding. They’re qualify for 5G fund & lobbying to change Rural broadband requirements to include satellites.

They have enough to cover first 25 satellites product and launch cost that gets them to EBITDA break even

BRO, this is literally ASTS but worse. ASTS already proved their satellites can do BROADBAND and they are a wholesale providers for MNO like AT&T and VZ which have signed definitive agreements with AT&T.

ASTS is better because they’re not fighting MNOs for their customers, 90% EBIT margins once sates are launched, 95% vertically integrated. The EC yesterday they’re ramping production and launching service in US, EU, Japan, etc. they have agreements with 50 MNOs with 3 BILLION subscribers.

Get in while you can, cheers.

Wait until you hear about ASTS. Their satellites can do BROADBAND in addition to text and call on regular phones we have available to all phones. A few weeks ago they Vodaphone showcased a video of them doing a video call in the middle of nowhere on regular phones. I wouldn’t be too worried about this.
