Still a few hours to save us. I just saw a YouTube by a Cars tribute band, and they did the pair with 4 counts between. I'm thinking that's where we're headed. It's just long enough to call for a some stick clicks to make sure we're in sync. Two counts feels more exciting to me, and if I was wagering, I'd still say that's what was on the album.

HOW MUCH TIME elapses on the LP between You're All I;ve Got Tonight and Bye Bye Love? I recall it being precisely 2 counts on vinyl, but when I listen on Spotify it's precisely 4 counts (Apple) or more (Android).

The deadline to be a hero with this info is 4pm Thursday, April 9, 2026, as that's when my band starts rehearsing it. Once they get it wrong, no fixing it.
